In the USA, should you ever be Arrested, links and discussions…

This thread is intended to be an eventual sticky, or source of information, should anyone here ever be accused of doing anything illegal with AAS in the united states.

Or lead to a Mod making a better version of this thread. if there is already one up, then I feel dumb + blind, as I did not see it here.

Naturally as thread starter, I present the first link. http://www.rickcollinsonline.com/

    Rick Colin’s website.

Also, most important piece of advice, for ANYONE every arrested for anything is.

SHUT UP, and ask for your Lawyer immediately!

Answer ZERO questions, as even giving the reason as to “why you were there”, is used to tie you to the scene of arrest. Your own personal testimony is one of the most, if no the most, valuable pieces used to convict.

Ok, time for input from others.

Absolutely good info. I hear guys say, "I'll just tell them (insert lie of choice here)" and I wanna choke them. The fact is you say literally NOTHING. If you lie, they have another charge to put on you to make it harder to get out of it all later. Just STFU if you get arrested. There is NOTHING you can say that will help you at that point.

Good point. The less she knows the better. That way they don't threaten her for info and they don't use her against you.

The only ONE thing you should ever say is: "I want my Lawyer NOW".

Difference from a slap on the wrist, and a 5-10.

Exactly. They're gonna say, "If you don't talk you're going to jail." I know. I had this experience. When they said that, my response was, "Do you want to cuff me in front or behind my back? Do what you have to do and I'll call my lawyer."

    Charges beat!

I cannot even watch that on TV.

All can can think is "SHUT UP MOTHERF***ER, ask for your LAWYER FIRST"

If you are not being arrested, and they are already asking you questions, ask them to formally arrest you, and get you your Lawyer.

It does not matter if they find 80 bottles of Winny in your house, if you shut the **** up, you get in 10x less trouble than the guy who says "see wha-ha happeneddd was".

Any halfway decent lawyer can get a "forceful sodomy rape charge" down to "tail gating", so long as the first thing you say to him is, I told them NOTHING AT ALL, and asked for you first.

But if you open your mouth, you are screwed.

No way to stress that enough.

Cops will use what you don't know against you.

I use to be a cop. Using scare tactics and potential witnesses against you to admit to guilt is a common day occurence. I like the above rule....don't say nothing, no matter what!

I know you were being sarcastic, as YOU would not do that, however, I see guys get arrested on TV,on "cops" and other shows, and that phrase is the first crap out of their mouth.

Yes I agree totally, even if I was to get stopped for a traffic violation, YOU NEVER EVER TELL LE MORE THAN WHAT THEY ASK YOU!!! Yes ask your lawyer about anything, they love for you waive your rights so they can convict you faster.

was driving through Oregon last week....they had just arrested a man who was smoking weed in his vehicle when he was pulled over. The search produced his gear...both full and empty vials as well as new syringes and used.....tried to start a thread but the weed reference got it edited because it was recreational.....the point is simple.....don't smoke with your gear in the car...it is automatic grounds for a search and an automatic driving under the influence as there is no thc/blood limit.....

Even IF that happens to you (which would be ones own dumbass move), he should still STFU for his own good.

All the evidence in the world, means jacko, and shite without personal testimony.

If the first thing you can tell a lawyer, is that the first, and only thing you said, was that you wanted to talk to him emediately, then he will be in a VERY good situation to defend you.

Saddly, that is a rarity for a Lawyer to hear.
