honestly you should talk to a professional about this. And by a professional i mean doctor. They dont let you give blood within a year of getting a tattoo because of the needles and ink, so im guessing there is a risk when you are sticking needles in yourself. and maybe there is a risk with higher RBC counts or something.

i mean i am a pre-med student, but i have no knowledge of this. Plus you might take the risk if it was you, but you are risking putting your neices health in danger. Better safe then sorry

i ve given blood numerous time on cycle. they dilute the blood and test it before giving to someone else.
if you tell them you use aas, they most probably not let you. i think cause you are sticking your self and risk infection.
im not advising you to, just telling you i do on cycle all the time.
hope her operation goes ok.

not sure if it helps but when i went to give blood at a local donation was told that i could never give blood because i have used injectable steroids . But the best advice would be go and ask a doctor they will know best.
hope your niece gets better dude.
