    SERM or AI during cycle?

I know the importance of estrogen during a cycle but if you're one of those guys who has to run something DURING a cycle (or you just want to) what is everyone's opinion on which is the better choice. Is it better to run an AI and keep the estrogen from forming altogether or a SERM and allow it to build up and just keep it from binding (especially to the chest area which is what most guys are concerned with). Types and dosages would be appreciated.

most people will say to just have nolva on hand in case something occurs i.e nipple soreness or something like that. It seems to me that nolvadex would be great to take on cycle because it is a SERM but unfortunately nolva does lower igf levels and that will hinder gains. I have noticed that most people on these forums seems to include arimidex during cycle if they do include an A.I. I personally have a friend who is gyno prone and he is using armidex while on cycle and he has no complaints. Doasge wise i would probably think around .25-.5 mg. I hope that helps a little bit.

Typically an AI would reduce your gains that one could gain out of a cycle more so than nolva due to blocking too much estrogen. AI's also make my joints hurt (although the least ive ran was .25mg of adex half way thru a cycle in which i had to stop). Yes nolvadex can reduce IGF1 levels but to be honest i dont think its that big of a problem as ive ran it straight thru and also just kept it on hand in case I felt/saw symptoms of gyno. Im checking into toremafine right now to see how that effects IGF1 levels as it is supposavely safer/better then Nolva.

Totally agree but it should be pointed out that nolva doesnt actually reduce free floating estrogen it merely competes very effectively I might add for the receptors in certain area's.... so if your not running a 19nor such as tren or deca ..... and nolvadex is enough to prevent you from getting gyno symptoms I would strongly suggest it as the alternative to an AI... but on a side note I strongly advocate to ALWAYS... ALWAYS... have letro on hand even if your not planning on using it....... saved my but more then once.....

And Lego.... Love the Avatar LOL...
