    What about Steroids after satisfactory gains

    I am currently 21 , 5'9 190lbs. I have been working out for 3 years now and have nice pecs and arms.

    My question is, what happens after I reach satisfactory results. I want to reach 250-260lbs and I think(from reading all the info.) that I should be near there after two cycles. After I complete my 2nd cycle PCT and everything is normal(testicles,hair,etc.), what do I do then? I will definitely be motivated after all that work to maintain it. But as far as roids are concerned, do I need to take anything else?

    I might consider going on a cutting cycle. But how do I maintain all that hard earned muscle?

    There is quite a bit flawed with some of your thinking. It's very unlikely that after two cycles for anyone (especially starting off) that you could throw on 60-70 lbs and actually keep all of it. Another thing is that not everyone is going to respond the same to certain compounds/cycles. Then you factor in your training experience technique, diet, lifestyle habits (sleeping, stress, etc) and there is no real way to say how much you will put on.

    Bodybuilding and especially with steroids is somewhat of a two steps forward, one step back. You cand feasibly put on 20lbs in your first cycle but even with the best PCT you will likely lose atleast 5'lbs of that in water retention and muscle.

    As far as continuing your usage, this is a lifetime goal. There will always be things you will want to work on. No, you do not have to stay on steroids by any means and you probably shouldn't. Unless you are 100% sure you know what you are doing and getting yourself into, you may not need to at this point in your life either.

    Either way and in any choice you make be safe and I hope you reach your goals.

    I don't have all the knowledge yet. I am still trying to read as much as I can. I have only been here like 5 days. I am going to spend about a month gathering all the info because right now I don't even know where to get it from.

    After I complete my 1st cycle(1-12) and PCT(12-16), how long should I wait before starting second cycle? I heard you should wait 12 weeks after your 1st one. Wouldn't I lose more than just water weight?

    I would wait a minumum of two months, three would be better. The whole point is to get your natural hormone levels back to normal, especially your test levels.

    How much muscle mass you lose really depends on the person. The faster your natural test reaches its normal levels among others such as your diet, workout etc. I really can't give you hard #'s but I can give you some examples. I myself on my 1st cycle of test put on about 20lbs. I lost five in the first couple of weeks of PCT (mostly water) and 5 more over the next month or so of eating around my maintenance (waiting for another bulker to come).

    My close friend who is a beast and definitely has the genetics to compete (which is now a fitness model) was completely opposite. He would do a bulker, throw on 30-40 lbs (heavy usage including HGH etc) and once off he would rebound so quickly that he would put on more weight in the couple weeks after his cycle (per week) than any other week in his cycle (this is also through his mouth so don't quote me).

    Im glad to see you are at least asking question before jumping striaght into it but like VT said everyone is different. Two people can take the exact same cycle and see much differnet results and this is because there are so many factors that influence your bodies development. When starting out it is recommended to start with one compound, like test, so you can see how your body reacts to it. Then on your next cycle try to introduce one more compound like deca or eq and see how that goes.

    70lbs of muscle will take you more then 2 cycles. if you dont care about fat then you might be able to do it but it took me years and many long cycles to gain 60lbs of solid muscle
