It depends on your definition of where its made is. A small amount of T3 is made directly from the thyroid. The rest is made when T4 which is about 4 times the concentration in serum to T3 enters its target cells and is converted to T3 intra-cellularly by the deiodinases enzyme. The normal levels can be miss leading because free and bound T3-T4 is usually in a 20-1 ratio.

Well, I have heard that the body makes around 25mcg daily, so would taking 100 mcg daily T3 mean I am burning 4x's as many calories or does it not work like that?

it will definatelty increase your metabolism but it isnt that easy.
metabolism is a complex thing that is effected by many factors such as age, weight, muscle mass.
your best bet is to get a accurate bodyfat test done (not electric thing you hold) and then try to find your lean mass and use the many formulas online.
Im sure t3 will help you lose weight but your gonna eat muscle off to with it make sure you include AAS if you use it.
In all honesty if your younger and you got atleast some AAS you can cut pretty quick with AAS, strict diet and little to no cardio. If you combine all three a good cutting cycle and good diet will get you there quick.
