Well if you are in week 8 you are probably close to being done.... So i'd say finish off this week and start the clomid. There is no point going to the gym hurt because you will end up hurting yourself in the long run. Trust me

Hey bro sorry to hear about your injury. I recently had a ruptured tendon. My advice is to do nothing until you see the best doctor you can find. Believe me when I say it is not worth risking further injury.
The surgeries can be very difficult, success rate is not that great and recovery and therapy can be very discouraging. Not trying to make you feel worse but this is a serious injury and should be treated as such.
If you can post the exact injury I'll look through all the info I've obtained and try to give you more specifics. I would suggest a hand surgeon and not just a plastic surgeon unless he specializes in hands only.
Hope that helps and good luck.

Train legs and do the pec deck using your elbows to push agaisnt the pads only. for back do bent over rows using no weight and having someone stand behind you and apply manuel resistance to your elbows. if they put you in a cast after a couple weeks you can put a strap around your wrist and do cable curls and pushdowns. This worked good for me when I broke my wrist a few years ago. Good luck and fast healing

If you are having a tendon surgically repaired *Don't* do anything in the gym. After surgery something as small as a twitch at the wrong time can rupture the suture.
It's just not worth it. If you damage it again you are vastly decreasing your chances of having a full recovery. A second surgery is much harder and sometimes impossible to do.
End the cycle, do the clomid, follow the Dr.'s instructions and take some time off. It will work out better in the long run.

That sucks bro. At least you should be close to the end of your cycle. Hopefully you can still get some leg work in. Recovery quickly bro. Good luck.

That sucks. I cut a tendon in my finger a few years ago and it hurt read bad. I didn't need surgery just stitches and a splint for 6 weeks. I could not bend it after but the doctor bent it for me. What an asshole!

yea well...the hospital in my city is a real crack shack, soo all the doc really did was stitch it up and put a splint on it. and he told me to see a hand specialist/plastic surgen...the doc told me that it looked like a cut/broken tendon.....but i can bend and move the finger right now when its in the splint, so maybe its not anything to really be worried about. but i'll see tomorrow.
im gunna go the gym and try and cut some bloat, do sum cardio, abs, and legs.
so week 8 woulda started today, im probably just gunna end the cycle, when should i start the clomid? and i was planning on running a dbol bridge also. my cycle looked like this:
1-5 dbol 40-50mg ed
1-7 eq 400mg
1-7 enant 800mg
??

You might think about doing growth hormone . It helps repair and strengthen tendons. I read a thread on another board where a guy tore his lower biceps tendon. He was using growth to help repair it. Let the doc's reattach it, then do growth to pump up the healing. Just my 2 cents.

i injured my thumb once and dropped "light" weight on my chest from full extension. Cracked a rib. Take some time off, get your anger in line(don't blame it on the juice) and do some cardio heh

I'd recommend that you continue your cycle for another two weeks, and train as much as you can while sparing your arm. There are plenty exercises you can do without using hands. In the two weeks time you won't lose mass, and you will give your tendon enough time to start healing. After that start your post cycle recovery as usual, and go higher in intensity as much as your arm allows you.

Do you know what the exact injury was? I cut my flexor tendon on my index finger. Was still able to move my finger until three days later when it snapped after picking up a picture frame. Now after surgery I'm able to move it to a 90 degree angle. That's it. Again, I recommend seeing the best hand surgeon you can. Take his advice and good luck.

Nothing like a broken bone. At least not to me. Cut didn't hurt at all. When it ruptured a few days later, the pain was excrutiating.
If the tendon was in fact cut, more than likely it will need to be repaired. They don't heall all that well on there own.
I'm sure your Dr. will be able to give you some better ideas. If it's moving, it hasn't ruptured(which is good). If it hasn't yet, but has be torn/cut, then you'll need to be very careful.
Let us know what the Dr. says.

Hey bro make sure you ask for a reference to a physical therapist. It will make all the difference in the world. I'd recommend alternating ice and heat on it, even through the cast; however I would run this by your surgeon, just in case. After you run it by him though do 10min ice, 10minutes heat and do this 3 times daily. This will increase bloodflow to the area and therefore help the healing process. I recommend eating very heathily during these next few weeks, take your multi, make throw in some fish oil. Lots of fruits and veggies too, plus obviously keep protein intake high to try to minimize any loss of muscle. I'd recommend some glutamine as well to help retain gains, maybe 10g daily.
Whatever you do LISTEN TO YOUR DOC!!!!!!!!! I had a hand injury that should have taken me 5 weeks to get over but took me 6 months because I didn't take care of it. It still bothers me sometimes still (not bad but I have to be aware of it).
Seeking the help of a deep tissue massage therapist might be a good way to aid recovery as well.
