Question Anyone else had to start over???

I had to abruptly stop HRT because my f***ing old primary care didn't do the full baseline tests when I started 7 months ago. My new endocrinologist is running a new baseline this week. I hope to have an accurate diagnosis and start therapy by next week. Since I stopped taking test I've watch my muscles shrink and become soft. It's been hard but I'm determined I can get back where I was.

Anyone else had to start over? How did you do it?

    thanks.peace.matty

You should started clomid and and kept working out and you would have kept most of your gains. Being on HRT doesn't guarantee a hardbody! It's just a starting baseline since most doc's won't prescribe enough AS to really build you up.

I know I should have taken clomid - I couldn't because it would have skewed the results of my bloodwork. I pretty much found myself in a catch 22. My goal is to find out what's wrong and treat it - if I'm able to build up along the way then that's even better. I'm still working out regularly - just took a week off to get my head straight.

Hey Matty I was just wondering how old you are? I am thinking about getting some tests done to see if I could get on HRT.

    Peace,
    CC

Hey CC - I'm 31. Got the first round of tests done when I was 29 (I think?) If you choose to go down that path, make sure you go to an endocrinologist or some other specialist. Don't waste your time on a primary care like I did. Hope this helps.
