butt hurt
Okay, I've heard that warming up the cheek and the vial helps with the soreness (test E 300) which is...I'm not going to lie; significant. Now everyone that has a sports/weightlifting background is accustomed to managing pain, but this is different, for instance; I noticed today that it affects my form when I'm squatting etc.
Also, how long should til the soreness diminishes, probably by the time I take my next (2/week) shot huh? This is my first cycle and I apologize if these are every day questions, I'm just looking for any helpfull tips etc.
Oh yeah, I should also mention; I know its a long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll, I don't need any retarded replies about "paying my dues" or whatever macho crap I see pop up in here occasionally, I'm just a newbie heavyweight looking for tips on managing soreness during my first cycle.

you can always work out before you inject so you have a day to recover

It state what the BA content is on the product?
Massage the area loads and try a heat pad on the area.. a hot shower straight after jabbing can help
Also if its ya first cycle it might take a few shots to 'break in' the virgin muscle.

Thanks for your help once again, I've been pretty good about following your advice thus far, a couple of weeks ago, you told me to scrap the deca and give the test E a try by itself and I'm damn glad I listened.

Dont worry. Im on my first cycle also. I was sore for 5days after each injection.
Even so sore that I couldnt sleep on either of my sides as both ass checks hurt if I laid on either side.
After about 3-4 weeks I didnt even feel a thing afterwards.
The virgin muscle thing is very true.
Plus your injection skill will improve also.

You know what? As long as I've got you guys here, I'm going to ask for your input on a non steroid question; Is there any way to figure out how many gams of protein your body can use at one time? I'm tying to break up my meals into about 50/per but its tough when you are shooting for 375 - 500 grams a day....I mean like next to impossible.

my first cycle i ever took my ass cheeks were sore for a 2 weeks. i'm currently on my 4th cycle and i don't even notice it anymore. i shoot it, rub it in and thats its.

you rub the oil in after you inject? Think that helps?

Rub the injection area pretty hard first before injecting.

im shooting Test E 350, about .7cc, every 3 days. about 8-12 hours after shooting that stuff really starts to hurt. feels like i got kicked in the ass cheek by a horse. some shots hurt less than others, some hurt until the next shot and then some. just get used to it.
i kind of like it now actually.

Yeah, after a few shots (1 cc of 300 every 3 days) Its much better. I warm the cheek by sitting on a heating pad, take my time with the injection itself and then I hop in the shower afterward and rub the area....the injection area that is....or at least thats how it starts.
Anyway, it makes for just a fraction of the discomfort, which I kinda welcome now like regular lifting soreness. Thanks again for all the feedback.

I train 70% lower body and therefore I am squating 160 kgs on the manual squat machine.
I would have wanted to inject into my butt or thighs for maximum gains but the aching that has resulted would actually hamper my lower body workouts....which is why I resisted the temptation to inject into my lower body.

makes sense, but I swear, the way I'm doing it now; the soreness is a non factor and it only took me from the 1st to the second injection to get there.

warm the injection spot with a heat pad for about 5 minutes massage it also, and warm your gear in a bowl with a little warm watter in it, make sure when you inject you do it very very slowly, then when done apply heat pack again and massage it for about 5 minutes. I alos like to go work out right away after I inject its been helping me out. i shot glutes and my first shot is still sore at day 5 but I just did my other side yesterday and did the above and I am fine!!! Plus I was shotting 3 c total which for me was alot, I will only be doing 1.5 cc every 3 days now.
