I PROPOSE! (all older members please comment)
So this has happened to me a couple of times...but i think if we all do this 1st we can save ourselves alot of time, and explanation that will prob go to waste
so ive noticed a couple of us (including myself) give out advice to noobs that enter the board and post a thread...come to later find out that they're 17, 18, and 19 year olds....so i propose the following...before we give out any advice on what to do and what not to do, we ask them their age..i caught myself answering someone questions and then comming back to ask their age only to have them say "im 18 and been lifting for 6yrs"
most of us ask bf%, diet, weight, height ect. but almost always forget to ask the age. thats prob b/c we assume that they are of age (i mean come on this is a mature ppls site..lol)
so who's with me? i kno its in the rules and regulations of the board..but i just feel that we should all enforce it more

Dupa, myself, and others have been doing this for some time. It's good to see others joining in. The only time I don't ask for age is if I already know it from other posts, or is someone else asks in the thread before I do.

Well, if there under 21 your obviously going to tell them NO CYCLE. Thats not what they wanna here, dumb but true. And what i mean them i mean WE. i can say from personal experience its not a good idea....
Some of us are just looking for advice for the future. Im very fascinated with the manipulation of hormones and how it can produce an anabolic enviroment for humans amongst other benefits.
But if there gonna do it anyway(most likely) then why not tell them the right way rather than letting them go and do deca only or something idiotic of the sort. As well as direct them to the pct forum. People my age in my opinion would listen to...
"ok well if you must, first thing take a look at the pct forum and once you fully understand that you can come back to the Q&A"
Rather than....
"Your way too young bro wait until your 21" - Thats about as effective as telling someone under 21 they must wait to drink alcohol.... they WONT listen.

Totally agree.
The age one sometimes gets forgotten when a member has 100-200 posts as its assumed its been asked b4.
-
I say to combat younger users who are not going to listen anyway. We just turn the board into an anal/oral/fetish sex discussion forum, I mean that seems to be the popular theme lately.

I say make it mandatory that age shows up under the avatar (spelling) It would not be bad to have basic stats also a mandatory display and at least some other basic stats under profile. What do you think?

thats kinda good idea ^^^ but imo most 18 year olds arent gonna listen to us say no to them when they come here so why not give them good advice so they dont harm there self even more

Unfortunately there are still too many of the "experienced" members that give advices without know anything of who asks...

We all usually give advice but with a warning attached to our statement

If you feel someone is under the age of 18 you should report them to a mod or admin.
If you find you self speaking with someone 18-21 you should just point them in the right direction. because they are going to do what they want not what you say. It is very hard to change someones mind when there not mature enught to fully understand.

Its like Dirtball said though, no matter how much you try, they are gonna do it anyway. Even when you tell them horror stories of past experiences, I think it goes in one ear and out the other. I think the best thing you can do is try to keep them safe. Just my opinion though. I will follow suit with what the Mods decide....

I have to admit if I was 18 right now and had the options like I have now, i.e. internet, this forum and able to get gear. I think I would find myself on gear. I never had these options when I was younger. Hell I am 36 and I am just finishing my 1st cycle. I have to admit that being older has helped out because I did over a year of research before jumping into it.

Yeah, a lot of people think that just because someone does gear, they are going to promote it to anyone and everyone because they think we are meatheads.
They fail to realize that a lot of roid users are extremely intelligent and actually care about other peoples safety. They will just have to deal with the fact that we do not want to take part in the possible harming of their bodies..... thats just me though

this site is so underdeveloped it's not even funny. I'm a web developer myself and it drives me nuts to see how popular it is, yet how basic it is also.
Someone needs to hire me in to tweak it the way it needs to be so that when a puppy comes in and asks a dumb question, it will pop-up a message that they have to accept in order to proceed, that simply states that they are a dumb ass.
In all seriousness though, the site does need to be modified to conform to the needs of the users on here.

These kids could be lying about their age, they could be 16 and say they are 24, I think its futile.
-
i agree with u to a certin degree...i hope all of us (or at least most of us) know where a 16yr old kids and a 24yr old mans mind state are...your maturity level should be there
normaly some young kids "w0uLd wRit3 Liiik3 diS" and they will ask questions without knowing anything...a person who is serious about it would ask different questions and hopefully has done some research

Ha! there was a guy round here not too long ago,in his 40's and was so wacked he could have passed for a minor. I will also tell you there are some really smart 15 and 16 year old kids out there, and they are crafty. Its been my policy that anyone who states they are 18 - 21 yrs old and wants advice on cycles, don't get any from me. On the contrary I usually point out that they are too young, point out the dangers, tell them its ultimately their decision and wish them well

when I first came aboard the first response to a thread was what is your age, height, weight, experience etc. There were alot of highly respected guys here that had solid advice, but I don't see many of them here anymore. I think this site is a great place, but unfortunately there are too many people giving not so great advise on here. Too many post whores who should not chime in on certain topics

Also, you are forgetting--its the internet. All you have to do is make up some stats, its like saying "Do not have sex untill you are married, good luck." All I am saying is most people are going to do it reguardless if they want too, all you can do is tell them they should slow it down and educate themself--I think the main thing to do is ask their age in hopes they tell you the truth and then go from there.
At worst, if you do tell them information--its better than them doing a Tren /Winny cycle with no PCT and then having their parents say AAS made their childs balls fall off or something.

No I didn’t forget but it's the fact that if they lie about their stats that does take some liability and guilt off of you.
As for the personal information, if you care about someone knowing your height, weight etc you are worrying about the wrong thing.
You are almost 25, you have been working out for 10 years, your mom has migraine headaches often.
First thing we always do is ask for someone’s stats so there are out there anyways. It would only eliminate 90% of the first post where several people have to ask whats your stats

All of those au faits, who recomend and advice first cycle, ALWAYS or USUALLY r asking for the age and stats, but I think, it's ****ing stupid (about the age, not stats), because no probl. to any to register in this site (and others like this) and 'virtually' make him/her-self as old as wanna he/she. If only parents haven't locked access to steroid sites, haahaaa.... So all the information what some person sayin about his age depends only on his rectitude. In my opinion kiddies' action in Internet playground must be under...parental safekeeping, but when a person come old enough, then'd be a good time to use his own brains and to try to make conclusions, what'd he need or not by the time (but sagacity'd be quite necessary).
