Flu shot while on gear?
Anyone know of a reason not to get the flu shot while on gear?

Just got one two weeks ago... I figured the flu would mess me up more than the shot would. +

I got an appointment to get mine in two days. Already had a sinus problem this year, can't risk the dreaded flu.

Do flu shots work?
I thought the shot is only against a few strains out of a possible many?
I've only known one person to get the flu shot, but regardless, he still got the flu every fall-winter period

The shot covers the most common strains of flu... So if some exotic version makes it over to the states you're still screwed, but it works for most strains... Better then nothing...

i think it works for 3 or 4 strains actually. They go through a process to determine which ones are most likely to occur and put those in the shot.
but i could be wrong
