pain after injection, doing something wrong?

im doing 250mg sust shots to my thigh n everytime i do my left one i get this horrible pain for 2-3 days... i shot today in the morning and felt fine up untill a couple of hours ago... now i can barely sustain my weight on it and walk. this crap hurts... what gives?? i massage the sight after the shot.. when i do my right leg i feel fine. am i pulling out at an angle or something? help!!

could be that you are moving the needle a lot when you are injecting your left side. does the injection site swell and turn red?

nothing noticable like that.. actually the pain is about 2-3 inches south of the injection site.. it runs along the lower side of my thigh to right above the side of my knee... kinda like the tes spread downward and hurts now. weird shit

My BF has the same issue it goes on for about 3 days and then it's over, I used to have the problem as well, but over time your body will get used to it. Try inserting the needle a little slower and also injecting slower.

yes injecting too fast could cause pain. i bet thats what the problem is.

My wife was out of town this week so i had to inject myself twice and when i was doing my left side i was makin freekin mince meat out of my glute. The pin kept moving back and forth and in and out because my left hand sucks and i didn't warm up my test and i shoot 25g. Anyway.... My hip hurt for a couple of days later about 3 or 4 inches away from the injection site, you could be close to a nerve or thats just the way your muscle reacts to that particular trama. Try switching between your legs and your glutes!

I get that sometimes exactly like you said a couple of inches from the injection sight. I found that if I warm the oil up more than body temp and go nice and slow the problem greatly reduced. Also I like to do something to get a slight pump in the area after the shot and that also helps me.

yeah i had that happen to me actually a couple of days ago in my shoulder. it was swollen and red as hell i thought maybe i injected into my fat and i was freaking out. i took some medicine and it went down some its almost gone now but i think thats what happened when my mother gave me the shot she was pushing like frequently and she injects it pretty quickly
