Clen and HIV
Member of my family is HIV positive. She wants to take Clen ...
Shes taking fat burn pills already and shes fine with them.
Talking to a Dr. wouldn't be good as he would say Clen is not good for you in general
Did anyone have any experience with this situation?
Thanks guys

I just checked bunch of HIV web sites and there are questions about using clen with HIV.. Dr. responses are that they are not sure if it will make any effects on CD4 and HIV infection.
So Dr. are not sure what effect clen has on HIV...

bare in mind if your looking on HIV websites they will be talking about a normal dosage used for medicinal purposes rather than the large dose required for weight loss

Is it really a good idea to make someone with HIV thin and hott?

Its actually my wife. We dated for 2 years and got married 3 y ago. so being together for 5 years.
2 months after we got married she found out she was HIV positive. Thats when all my dreams and life crushed down. I got tested 5 times in 6 months and came up clean. I am kind a guy who cares about other people so i couldnt leave her, divorce her. That's just not me...
I still think about it but i care too much about her.. She had blood transfusion 20 y ago and dr thing that could be one of the reasons...but we will never know the thruth.
Now i get check 2 times a year, but Doctors (4 of them ) said if i didn't get it i have slim chances of gettin it. Or i may be immune, they will do immunity test on me one day..
I had unprotected sex for 2.5 years with her and didn't get it...
It's hard but have to live with it...
Good thing is we live in the city that is well know for HIV and Aids...

man, that's pretty tough.
Anyways, isn't HIV responsible for weight drop and muscle wasting? I'm not a doctor, but Oxandrolone (Anavar ) is made for that, right? Maybe look into that since it gets people lean.
Again, I'm not a doctor, do some research.

Does she use Deca ? Because Deca is used by HIV patients to rebuild lost muscle mass.

Yes some people with advanced HIV can have muscle wasting. At that time Dr. would prescribe Deca or something else to get muscle mass back.
She has very low virus count, not even taking medicine yet.

I wouldnt use Clen . afaik it is important to keep your immunesystem as high as possible all the time, to prevent the HIV evolving. And Clen can make you ill, give you headaches, vomitting and so on. Also if I remember correctly Clen is very bad for you liver, which is not good.
My advise, dont do clen, or ECA at all! Keep her healthybetter be safe, when she has HIV.
For the other posts. Oxymethlone(anadrol , oxy) is used on AIDS patiens, the dosages are as high as bodybuilding doses(1xx mg, and up). Oxymetholone increases the number of red blood cells(which AIDS decreases), and also it gives a lot of muscle mass, which is important.

Sorry to hear that bro....but I think you should be honest with the doc's, they may see something that you're not thinking of.....not sure how far the HIV case is and she has muscle wasting...but I know there is an OTC product called "JUVEN" I think just for HIV....you may want to have her add that to her daily sups

I do know AAS can be very beneficial to HIV/AIDS patients but unsure of CLENBUTEROL . i would do more research. i would hate to give bad advice on something this serious.

Anything that speeds up your metabolism would be very bad, a clean healthy diet on the other hand would be very good.

I don't wanna get too personal, but how exactly did she find out she was HIV+? I mean a test obviously, but was she showing symptoms or anything? Just wondering what made her get an HIV test 2 months after getting married ? Surely if she had contracted it 20 years ago, it would be in its advanced stages by now, no?

Just a regular checkup. we both decided to go and do blood test and check chol. and everything. So in cali they ask you if you wanna do HIV test as a regular procedure so we did. And thats how she found out..
She did have blood tests before but never tested for HIV.
She never showed any signs or being sick. as a meter of fact when she gets flu or cold she gets thru it in 2 days and im stuck with it for 2 weeks
Also Dr said her imune syst is strong and tcells are high so she may live without medicine for next 5, 10 or 15 years.
good thing is that medication is available now and you live to grow old. Not a death sentence anymore

My girl and future fiance has hpv, which is definitely not even close to hiv, but I kind of feel your pain. So to the point, I've read somewhere that primo is another beneficial substance for hiv + patients. Lots of guys talk bad about primo here, but personally, I love it. It has great fat burning properties and is also supposed to boost the immune system while creating a positive nitrogren balance for muscle building. I've tried OTC fat burners and felt like shit off of them, I couldn't even imagine what clen would feel like, so thats why I don't try those things.

Wow - this is a really touching story. Unfortunately, there aren't any details about height, years working out, clothing sizes etc.
Does she work out - not just cardio but weights? (I hope so!)How long has she worked out? Lifting will boost her metabolism (safely) and provide a muscle base that will be very useful to her in the future.
I would DEFINITELY avoid any fat burners or clenbuterol etc.
DEFINITELY avoid any sort of sedentary lifestyle!!!
Manage the weight with a good healthy diet plus a good set of immune-boosting vitamins and also ensure she gets sunshine in moderate quantities for vitamin D.
Another trick in your location is to ditch the car and ride a bike. This is way better than taking any fat-burner in my opinion. I believe that you and your wife are in a good city for bicycling. (bad parking, very high gas prices, pretty good weather, and many bicyclists so that the drivers are alert to bicycles on the streets). She might enjoy this blog from the City that the Starship built (music reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxGGckAc1rs).
http://velovogue.blogspot.com/
(more bike culture from the city where gas costs more than $4.50/gallon): http://www.cyclecide.com/
After she's worked out/bicycled for maybe a year (in her case as HIV+), I think she might be a really good candidate for something like anavar or NPP. (Of all people, she probably needs less justification than just about anyone else for taking anavar, even if it's off-script).
By the way, I'm assuming she isn't obese...but just wants to build muscle and reduce fat levels with an active lifestyle.
Intellectual curiosity:
Is your ancestry from somewhere like Sweden, Norway or Denmark? From what I've read, the small percentage of people who are HIV-resistant have ancestry in _northern_ Europe. The frequency of the gene is a lot lower in Germany and points south and west).
Best wishes!

Like others i applaud your actions and wish the best for you and your family.

I commend you as well. Good job and god bless your heart.
I wouldn't be banking on what your docs said about being immune... I wouldn't count on that... it's just a myth in this stage... and you've been lucky. Plausible, yes, but the answer is still unknown.
Man, you really care about her. Hats off to you both...
Seeing that you care for her so much, and you want her to be around... My advice is to forget about the Clen . It is known to be harsh with many known side effects.
What ever you decided to do, you have my blessings.

They use AAS on patients, when the the effects off the increase of red bloodcells and musclemass, are larger than the sideeffects. They dont use it then.
Clenbuterol is a Beta2 Antogonist
For example: a AIDS patiens who only have some few months to live, can use AAS because the sideeffects are noway near the postive effects of AAS.
@Dado5, good luck with your wife, I wish the best for you two. Looks like you both show a very promising love
Futhermore, I dont know if you know this, but I wouldnt recommend training for your wife when she gets a cold/flue or similar - because cardio and weighttraining temporary reduces the immunesystem, so its a No Go to the gym, or cardio when she is ill. Just my 2 cents of advise

Sorry dude if my other comment was a little cold. Hope she is one of the lucky ones that lives a long life with the help of the drugs available today.

fyi clenbuterol is definitely NOT a beta 2 antagonist that would cause bronchoconstriction. clen is a sympathomimetic, beta 2 agonist which causes bronchodialation. the complete opposite. just my 2 cents.
