Steroids/Prohormones - can they be detected in a common physical

Last year I went to the doctor (I was not on any drugs) and went to get my physical that I needed so I could play sports in high school. Well they did the common thing such as eye check, hearing, spine whatever but they also took a sample of my urine.

Well this year they're probably going to do that again and I was wondering if lets say I've been on steroids for only a few weeks. Could they detect anything abnormal (specifically unormally high testosterone or steroids) in the urine?

They likely are not testing for steroids . If they did test for roids you would be caught though.

What about prohormones. That is what I most likely will be taking as I am under the belief that it will stunt your growth less (assuming you are still growing as an adolescent) and that they also have less serious side effects.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

If they do blood work, they will notice your liver enzymes are off. Mine were off with no orals, but only injectables. My doctor was concerned, said it could be a number of health issues. I assured him it was just my "supplements".

Prohormones are hard on your liver and will show if they check your blood.

If not, they won't know you're taking anything unless you tell them.

Injectables, of course that is going to throw off your levels and be detected in bloodwork.....but i dont know of any prohormones you inject.....

I believe his qestions was on prohormones.......which are oral, and yes they too can cause some messed up test results.....
