    Another source BUSTED..please read!

    Has anyone heard of a bust yesterday or today involving a domestic US source whose name starts with a P? If so, please pm me!!

    Guys..if you know who I was talking about it was verified for me. They have his car, cash, house>everything!! I was told to get rid of all gear, pinz, ancies, and all data on computer IMMEDIATELY!!! holy shit, i am freaked out.....I don't have anything in my house, vehicles, gym or anywhere anyone could find. My pc is totally washed, I erase tracks everynight with Windows Washer...and email inboxes are totally deleted...Is there anything else I need to do? The guy who verified it for me said they would be coming to my house because I had just sent money to the source this week and according to tracking numbers it was delivered yesterday......

    there is some free-ware called secure disk or secure something.

    When you delete files from your directory the files really aren't deleted, they go to "empty" space where the stay until the space is written over. Reformatting the hard drive does nothing. What this program does is it writes to all of you empty space so that nothing exists.

    All the major U.S. offices have some pretty cool software that allows them to recreate hard drives and such. If you exchanged any e-mails and this guy the got busted didn't take care of business, chances are the feds already have you information.

    What I would do is make sure you don't have any of your gear around and if they show up to your door with all sorts evidence you can say the guy scammed you and you have no clue what the fuck they are talking about. Ignorance is bliss.

    Being an IT professional myself, I know it is true.

    You can fdisk, run all the programs you want. You can even take your hard drive apart and even break it into pieces. If they want to do "true" data recovery, they can pull it out. Short of smashing the hard drive disks into tiny little pieces, there's not much you can do to erase all the information.

    "Computer Forensics" is amazing.

    However, the chances that the *BI would actually go to this extent, is relatively slim, unless it was a big case.

    Even formatting your harddrive won't erase everything. Everything that you've EVER deleted is STILL on your harddrive, just buried deep within. If someone is smart enough, they can bring back to life the first ever porn file you downloaded, the best bet, like someone else said, is to throw the harddrive in the river and spend the $300 on a new one.

    Are you guys serious? I'm all for being careful but you have to be realistic too. If your source gets busted and they find your name, so what? Unless you are the next Tony Soprano or you are involved in dealing the feds don't have the budget to knock down everybody's door. Ever hear of a wide scale manhunt for AS user(s)? Just follow Mastiff's advice(posted above) and live your life to the fullest knowing that you are prepared when the shit hits the fan. If you're going to quit, do so for your own personal reasons, not because of the government attempts to tell you how to live your life.

    Busted, bro, and out on bail. Lost my car, computer, bank accounts, facing
    felony charges.

    Postal inspectors seized my box and all $. Everything is gone. Check Meso

    All info regarding you and other customers has been erased, and my
    passwords have been changed. Even so, I wouldn't recommend mailing me
    again, as they may be monitoring my accounts somehow. No worries, though,
