Quads are prone to being a painfull shot, hot baths and massage will help, if the injections continue to be painfull use other sites.

Quad shots can be painful, there are a lot of nerves in the quads, make sure you shoot in the muscle belly of the vastus lateralis.

I have found spots all over my quads which are painless but I have had not so fun injections there too.

hahaha, on my last ED injection cycle, i found myself running outta injection sites when i only used delts, glutes, quads...
First quad shot on both leg were fine actually, and then friggin after that, it got worse and worse, every single time i would guarantee to draw blood when aspirate , and by then i know when i hit / near a vein, cos everytime it's very numb when i know i will draw blood, and sometimes it takes several attempts to hit the right spot without hitting anything major.
I'm trying to stay to the longer esters next time. starting to develop a dislike for glute shots also, cos the muscles on my back get cramps when doing it.

You said you shot biceps. If you'll do that(which I also do) then I'm sure you'll have no problem with tri's and delts. With each glute that makes for 8 sites which is more than enough. Leave those thighs alone.

I have had similar problems with quads. The shot itself did not hurt but it was literally stiff for a solid week. Glutes and Delts have always gone smooth but i am a little nervous to try the bicpes. Any advice?

damn i cant do glutes i cant reach around enough to pin then aspirate ,
i do quads all the time and dont have any trouble except sometimes the muscle tightens around the needle.
what i do with quads is i sit down on my bed with my legs out straight, put the base of my hand on my hip and run my middle finger down the centre of my quad, where my finger ends is where i inject,
after using this method i have not hit a vein or blood vessel yet for about 20 injections, (10 each side)

curl your arm and see where the nice peak of the muscle is then relax it and let the arm dangle at your side. Stay relaxed when you inject and inject VERY slow. First couple of times i tried bicep it hurt like crazy but then it was better. Just push it slow and you should be ok.
Pec injections and calf injections are the real pain. I'll never do those again in my life.
