dont really want people to know
can most people ushly tell when u go on a cycle for the first time? like ur wife or friends?

I gained and kept 35 lbs my first cycle, and no one had a clue that I had taken steroids at any point during or after the cycle. They simply marveled at the results. Funny thing is that all of the 35 lbs that was gained was in the first 6 weeks of the cycle, and nothing but strength gains came the second half of the cycle. I guess the muscle was just solidifying the last 6 weeks which is why I lost no weight. You'd think someone would say something if that much weight was gained that quickly, but nope. I wouldn't worry about others thinking that you're on steroids. And if they do, you can always deny it.

bro, even when i was natural ppl accused me of being on juice, but no one will really know or care unless you tell them face to face you are on juice......if they do really care about it and judge you on it, then screw them.

It's like coming home with lipstick on your collar - never admit to anything unless they see it with their own two eyes. Even then, tell them to go see an optometrist.

never tell a soul unless you have seen a needle hanging from there ass......LOL
It works both ways, in the profession I was in I saw a lot of athletes. Some you could tell they were on because all of a sudden without anything else changing their logs books would be filled with PR's and things like that. Other guys that you though were not on were actually on, then there were those who would learn how to eat right and blow up like they were on.
I got out of the habit of guessing who was on and who was not. It was purely a guessing game unless they said something.

I have coworkers ask me if I take steroids once in awhile. I have yet to take them! I have talked about my cycle plans with my wife and brother. My brother will eventually do a cycle himself while my wife has concerns but is behind me regardless.

I put on 25 lbs in ten weeks. My suits were tight around the arms and I ;looked like a different person. Noone ever even joked about it. THey were just like man you eat like ahorse and are serious about your work outs! But I really don;t give a crap what they think if they think that I would laugh it off and say 'dont be jelous bitch. Put down the hatorade and get back to work.'

People will usually accuse you of juicing to make them feel better and bring you down. Because you are busting your ass in the gym and they sit on their ass.

True story...laugh and get it over with...
When the movie Elf came out a few years ago, recall the scene when Will Ferrell saw 'something special' in the window of Victoria Secret? My sister-in-law thought it would be funny to give me a similar item as a joke for Christmas. I opened it up, took off my shirt, and put it on!
My in-laws, who are very conservative, nearly shit! They saw my upper body definition and said...man are you on steroids ??!! I replied, "I wish, know where I can get some?"

Yep, just deny it and tell people that you train hard and eat like a horse. No one will dispute you. I have been questioned and stuck to that story and had no further problems.

well, ya isnt that why you lift? so people can notice??
do this, buy a suppliment (preferable a cheap one) make a big deal about going on it to your wife... it does this and that show her pic of the guys in the mag and tell her they are on it... then gear up
ps keep a sweat shirt on in the gym so know one knows(as much)

I'd say that if you are already a monster (250lbs + and pretty lean) people won't notice.
If you are a 160lb stringbrean that gets close to 200, people will definitely think something is up if you've been around them without your shirt on before you got on cycle.
That's why I like to be finished with my cycles before summer so I look my sharpest heading in before pool season so people know what to expect me to look like.

for christs sake...if people dont start to ask or wonder then you did something wrong! Its nobodies business but yours and as far as your loved ones you need to decide whats right as far as answering questions ,honesty, cost/ benefits of telling them etc....
-

just like everyone has said. do it and dont tell anyone. people will always wonder if a big guy is on steroids but they cant know for sure unless you tell them you are.

im pretty sure you can pick some guys who are own gear.... when i was about 16 training at the gym there was i guy who had (gussing) 30inch waist, easily 20inch arms and chest to big for me to guess what size and quads thicker then his waist and there was no chance he was natty... lol but not everyone knows that much about bodybuilding so just tell them your on creatine lol

I don't leave anything to chance....when I'm in the gym I wear a t-shirt that says.."Got Juice?" .......with a loaded pin that has a drop coming out of it...thats the front.....the back of the shirt says..."I sure do!"..lol
-
LMFAO! Thats hilarious!!
But seriously...People really are ignorant. A guy at my gym is a competitive bodybuilder who (like a d-bag) wears this shirt that says "No. IM NOT ON STEROIDS " and the back says "IM ALL NATURAL". This fool has stretch marks up and down his back has him lookin like he is a freaking tiger. And he is black so the stretch marks are probably the most noticable ive seen. The guy is HUGE, and RIPPED. And all these ignorant dbags got to believing this dude is natty because of a simple t-shirt. people are idiots about this stuff. Have no idea how readily available this stuff is. As for your wife, if youre married to a women you cant share that kinda intel with..then hell...whats the point? My girl knows i gear up. Be careful there bro, i had a friend lose a whole 12wk cycle of test, deca , and dbol + pct down a toilet when his girl found his gear. Id have torn her head off personally. Thats alot of $$ to flush.
But ya bro..buy some new supp and tell your wife its suppose to work miracles. Then dont get caught being a liar to your loved ones.Last edited by MMArmour; 01-06-2009 at 01:08 PM. Reason: typo

If you gain 35 lbs of muscle in 6 wks and no one knows there is something up , then they have been living with their head in the sand. Lets get real here. Unless you live in the woods , someone is gonna say something or have an opinion at the least.
My wife always knows when I'm on , boner all the time and looking thicker. Do you guys live with naive people or what? sheeeesh

^^agreed. first off its not possible to gain 35lbs of muscle in only 6 weeks so im sure you had alot of water and/or fat. 2nd, if nobody noticed an extra 35lbs in 6 weeks/ 6lbs a week then nobody you know must pay much attention to you because i cain 15lbs in 10 weeks and people notice
-
I got asked 3 weeks in to cycle but a simple "thanks man im flattered! but no juice for me thanks" was all it took. and then make some ignorant statement like you dont want your penis to shrink.

Does anyone change their clothes, or perhaps what you're wearing to the gym?
If you're going sleeveless and put on an inch or two in your arms it might be pretty noticeable (maybe)
But I think if you wear baggier things, no one will really pay attention.
Good thread though.

Don't ever tell anyone unless they bring it up first and you are comfortable with that person. Other than that never admit to anything and people won't know. At least the non juicers won't know. The guys who take 'em will suspect something because they know better. Tell everyone else you are eating a lot more and it'll be good enough.
