    New To It All

Im 25, Im 5"10 and weigh 245lbs. I know im over wight and when i hit the gym the last few night i could barely lift any type of weight which was kind of emberasing. Ive been doin 2 to 3 miles on the treadmil each trip , and ive been goin every day after work or in the morning before work.

Exercise list is , treadmill first, then leg presses, curls, butterflys, and sit ups with a friend throwing me a medicine ball.

Is there anything anyone can tel me to help me withthe routine and any kind of supliment\steroid I could use to speed up the weight loss while gaining muscle mass and giving me that little bit more unf I need while workin they weights?

baby steps,, id just hit alot of cardio and get you a good diet of the other section in here. And you can slowly start liftn weights while doin this. Its gonna take awhile to start building muscles if you have never worked out b4.

Well in the morning im eating boiled eggs 1 whole, 2 just egg whites, lunch chicken salad no dressing, dinner usually rice with boiled skinless chicken breast, and drinkin alot of water. Does that sound good? And are there any supliments I could take that are non steroid for now that would help? And when I get to liftin a little what would you recomend?

It sounds like you arent eating enough calories which would lead to the no strength in your lifts. You need to take in the right calories to be able to shed fat too. You would be better off to move the rice to an earlier time in the day and also you need to have more meals 6-8 is ideal so eat every 2 hours or so.

You need to prepare chicken breasts the day before and split them into smaller servings and eat them every 2 hours or so I work all the time and fit time in for it. A small serving of brown rice or salad with them is good too also sweat potatoes are anoth carb option with the chicken throughout the day. Keep it simple dont forget you do need some fat in your diet, a Tbs here and there of flax seed oil isnt bad to throw in. Stick with the chicken breasts over steak while trying to cut they are generally leaner. Add some oatmeal to breakfast too. Another thing to consider is having 1-2 green teas every day they are really good for giving you energy and helping you lose fat.

You dont have to do these extreme diets all the guys on here do to lose weight. If you can eat smaller portions and spread them out through the day it will help speed up your metabolism but it comes down to eating good and training hard.

Also right before bed cottage cheese or a casein protein shake(mixed in water) are ideal. They slowly release protein while you sleep.

in addition to your diet problems, your workout sounds like you do the same thing every other day. You need a new workout routine, if you haven't seen a plateau in progress yet, you will.
