    Smile My quest..

I have been a member of this forum for while but I have never posted in this section before. You guessed it.. I'm thinking of turning to the dark side. I have been doing a lot of all the recommended reading from the stickies but I still find myself being completely overwhelmed with the information and I need a push in the right direction. I don't mind doing the necessary homework but I feel like my goals might not be the average that you usually come across in the forum.

I've been training on and off since I've been about 16, regularly since about 20 (I'm 25 now). I know plenty about lifting and nutrition so that's not a problem.. I have actually had very good results since I've been training (I've lost close to 100 lbs of fat in my late teens and gained a good amount of muscle in the past few years.. I'm quite proud of my quest)
I'm a classic endomorph type.. I'm 6'2 and about 220 lbs - not sure about my bf%.. I tend to just go by what I see in the mirror.

What I believe makes me different is the fact that I don't want to get all that bigger. My body is a sponge, I would probably get big just by removing the cap off of a vial and smelling the gear.. I see great results off of just trying your basic supplements like no-x and creatine.

Here's the thing also.. I train on a regular basis in mma and bjj and I feel like it takes a toll on my body more than it should. I'd like to be able to recover quicker and train harder. I'm not looking to get my pro card or fight in the ufc... I just want to feel better. My goals are both aesthetic and practical.

I saw this video here and it's made me quite curious. Just the first part with C. Boeving.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7qGvm05swQ

He talks more about the health benefits of AS and that's what I'm looking for.. just a slight edge. What type of cycle you think he's on? Do I further research your plain normal newbie cycle or can I do something simpler/lighter.

Thanks in advance for any input, I've always had a lot appreciation and respect for the members here..

he is obviously a very experienced AAS user bro. He's played with shit youve never even heard of.

We need to know your Bf% before giving much advise. I also compete in MMA and the only effects ive noticed was my cardio has suffered on AAS. Obviously since i supplement training with lifting ive repeated the benefits of massive strength increase but also it forces me to fight well out of my usual weight class (i used to be a middle weight) now i have to cut weight to just make it to light heavyweight. If your not competing however then it shouldnt be much of a problem. You can offset the cardiovascular side of things with more cardio but at the end of the day steroids have a negative effect on serum cholesterol and not only that...your lungs and heart are now forced to fuel 20+ extra pounds of muscle. Again..if youre not competing... no big deal.

A simple run of testosterone enanthate @ 500mg/wk (split into two 250mg inj e4d) for 12 weeks with a good pct will work wonders provided your body fat is at a reasonable level (below 15%). Also...if your like me, and training hard, i cant gain weight if im training MMA. I lose fat, but also burn up muscle and find that I cannot do both at the same time. This may be your case as well.

not to sure about my bf% but I make it a point to get it down to that before starting AS if I had to. And no I'm not competing (yet) so I don't need to think about that. My goals are very much aesthetic as well as feeling better on the mat. I don't train hardcore mma. I lift more than a roll. I lift four times a week and I roll once or twice a week. And I don't have any worries about not gaining.. I have good genetics like that.

I'm also curious about how much I could expect to have to put up for that.. ballpark?..
I only working part time now while working a home business.. money is a little bit of a factor. And what if I only did half that amount? Would it still give me results or would it just be a waste of time/money? Again.. Thanks for the input

    Stick @ 500mg/week for 12 weeks. Mon/Thurs inject 250mg.
    Run your PCT like this
    Clomid 50/50/50/50
    Nolva 20/20/20/20

Each testosterone (with the exception of testosterone suspension and a few others) has a specific ester attached to the actual molecule (this is true of all AAS). This ester gives the testosterone (or other AAS compound. Testosterone is my example for this scenario as it is what you will be using) a time release property. Enanthate is the ester attached to the specific test we recommending to you and is also one of the longest esters available in our arsenal in modern day AAS, and will provide significant elevation of levels up to day 10.5 after taking it however we inject this hormone for optimum effect every 4 days. What this ultimately means is that it has to be run for a significant amount of time for the hormone to reach peaked levels and stabilize its levels in your blood to be effective. Enanthate being a longer ester, 12 weeks is a minimum bro. Any shorter and youre not going to b happy. As for price, we cant talk shop here.

I was talking about 250mg/week instead of 500mg/week for 12 weeks just to see how my genetics respond to it.. not looking for a drastic change now (who knows I might later) I just want to test the waters.. I'm was also reading that dbol would be a great way to kick off the cycle.. still reading and learning. I probably won't start until a good while to make sure I have all the info I need to proceed.. thanks mmarmour and everybody for all the help!

You read correctly. Dbol is a good kicker but this is your first run. I dont advise using dbol at this point for 2 reason.

    a) you have no idea how your body will respond to the Test. This means that if there are unpleasant side effects you will have no way of knowing which compound is causing the sides. for your first run stick to just test e.

    b) youre not looking for durastic changes? Then what are you doing trying to use AAS?
Dbol will blow you up quick but is primarily water weight. Its not a quality muscle builder. And the gains from dbol will not stick as well as with test.

Take into consideration that your genetics dont suddenly make 250mg/wk more potent than 500mg/wk. Youve stated that you want to test the water, well, 500mg/wk is doing just that. 250mg/wk may be closer to splashing around in a puddle! if you get what i mean. If youre not looking for a durastic change then from the sounds of it, you can do it all natural. But 500mg/wk for 1-12wk is a commonly accepted dose and is by no means considered a high or excessive dosage. Im giving you advice to make the most of the money you are going to spend. I honestly feel that with 250mg/wk you will not be satisfied. But congrats on educating yourself properly. Im fairly new to this forum but i havent seen much of that AT ALL.

so just doing a cycle of test e has helped you in mma? I seem to have trouble recuperating after intense bjj sessions and it hinders my ability to lift.. I seem to feel depressed after a couple of weeks into hard training..

Oh man. I love test. I felt like a God on Mount Olympus. Yes it will WITHOUT A DOUBT help you in recovering from workouts and training sessions, and depression??? Forget it bro. Nothing in the world could bring me down while on cycle. You will feel more capable than you have in your life, more aggresive in the gym and more aggressive in the cage/on the mat. A very pronounced sense of well-being and confidence are all some of the things youll experience from test. Muscle gain and strength gain and the desire to rail any girl you EVER considered HALF attractive.

I tried to explain to my friends what it was like to be on and then come off. I told them "imagine that you and only a few others are Gods most chosen among all the men on earth. Imagine you are ascended above all others. Capable of anything. Limited by no one or nothing. And now imagine you are just a normal guy. Not depressed. Not smaller than ever. Just normal. Just average." Thats really how it felt for me. I didnt feel depressed post cycle. But definetly not the "god on mount olympus" i was on cycle. Even after my cycle i had a good sense of well being and i swear the HCG grew my balls back bigger than ever. Haha they are freaking huge! noticably bigger to me then previously and holding. Nice! hahaha

p.s. sorry for the religious reference. Im athiest myself. Just a good way to put into perspective for someone who doesnt know. Maybe i make it sound more epic than it should be but man...i love it.

my pleasure bro. just keep educating yourself. And then prepare for the ride of your life that you can take as many times as you want. But remember...all things in moderation. These older vets have the freedom of cruising and blasting that us younger guys shouldnt consider just yet. Remember that your PCT will determine your ability to keep your gains. Which...makes it more important to me than the gear itself. who gives a shit if youre buff for 3 months out of the year ya know? Good luck bro!
