    injec site swollen?

Just started my first ever cycle of Test Prop after a year of being off. All sites I have injected to so far have swollen somewhat and of course have been pretty painful. But I injected into my right side delt last night (1ml swabbed bottle & body before inj) and it seems to be quite noticeably swollen. Not hot to the touch and not as painful as the other inject spots so far ( prob only because I have injected into my shoulder before) but I am just wondering if the swelling is normal? Never used Test Prop before and I have heard it can do that but just want to make sure. Thanks guys

How long after you injected? Use a heating pad and take some ibuprofen or aspirin.

As far as pain from prop goes, IMHO a lot depends on who made it. Most likely they are using a high BA content. I can honestly say the prop I use is 100% painless. It can also be that your body reacts to that ester poorly.

Its been a little over 12 hours since injecting & i did use a heating pad for a bit but dont have any ibuprofen or aspirin unfortunitally. The other inejct site have hurt quite a bit because I never injected there before and prob in conjunction with the BA content. I did my glute and now my delt which seem to be somewhat sore but no hinderence. Just wanted to make sure that swelling is somewhat common with new users to Prop. thanks

Well, its unlikely its an abscess simply because it has not been very long. How much volume did you inject? I would try and get some ibupro or aspirin and just keep an eye on it, if its not better in 24 hours, consider going in to the doc.

cool, ill keep that in mind, the other spots I injected into were also swollen somewhat for a bit so ill let it settle. I actually just found some profen so that will help and I injected 1ml in. Im not to worried seems like its just how i have been reacting to the injects so far. My legs swoll up a bit almost right after the inject lol

Ice is always a better choice to reduce swelling. You can actually damage your cells when heating a swollen area.

Sounds like you're fine. If it continually gets worse after five days go to the ER and they will give you the proper antibiotic. But like I said, you're probubaly cool.

    you put in one ml?

what kind of needle are you using?

i will assume you are putting it in the meaty part of the delt? and you have a decent deltoid to inject in to?

as for swelling and it not being hot - that is a good sign, but you should have someone who knows what they are looking at and what you are doing to take a look at ya

    good luck

    shoot in the glute

good... the muscle is a lot smaller so the fluid has less places to go... always seems to hurt there a little bit more
