seizure letter

Someboby just touched on it in another thread. Is it true that customs may seize your gear and not even send a letter (that is just plain rude) Ive got gear that has been MIA since October. It primo so I will be out some bucks

Yes they can and will do that sometimes. Like i posted b4, they are people with human emotions. Sometimes its more of a PITA to write a report and send a letter then just toss the shit as it comes through. then again people get half their stuff dumped and the rest let through. ITs a paperwork process and when people want to be funny or lazy then things like this happen. Sucks but nothin we can do about it

I have read that customs only sends out letters to 30-40% of the orders they seize.

no you will get a seizure letter. no letter = ripped off.

I just got one... It takes a week or two tops... They send it believe me... Dont respond obviously. They will give you two options when you do get the letter. Dont do either..

You said that in My Thread. Im not sure who told you that , but I am yet to meet anyone EVER. That didnt get a letter that had a legitimate source.. If you get ripped your obviously not getting a letter, but if its legit... You get one

not true.. i had tracking.. it made it to the states but never left customs.. no letter ever received..
have gotten a letter,no letter, even got the box the shit was shipped in with a letter inside and the inspectors card..

Yea, nothing like looking foward to seeing your Box and than opening the box to find a piece of paper in it that says your sht out of luck Pal... Im interested what they do with what they do find..

I got the customs seizure letter in the original shipping box and I even got the fake invoice but no gear...

u'r saying it never left customs but that u had tracking. my question what did the tracking keep saying after a while??

in process or some shit like that?? or did it just stop tracking and indicating no such record??
