How long does it take to get a customs letter?

I had 3 packages shipped in mid December.

Mid Feb now, and by January 6th, i had 2 of the packages.

The largest package never showed though.

I've not received a customs letter either.

One thing is the address on the packages was all perfect. Name, street, zip. But they had the wrong state. I'm in Michigan, and the envelopes said "Alabama"

as long as the zipcode is correct you should get it.

ive got letters quick.. some took months,, didnt even receive one a couple times..

Can you get in any trouble if you recieve a letter? Or is it enough punishment that you paid for your shipment and will never see it?

if you get a letter just dump it and write it off.. if they want you your not going to get a letter.. gonna be a controlled delivery...

If anything seems odd about the situation, just chock it up to being a loss.

Think of it like this, if you lose 600 USD, to dangerous people, are you really going to go kick in the door and demand your money back?

Well, Fedzilla is dangerous people, and they could just be waiting for you to make a stink about your missing stuff.

IMHO, if it does not come, don't even bother trying to get it back, or your money back. I know it sucks, but that's the way it is.

Also, if you ever get arrested, don't talk. Don't make an explanation or excuse. Tell them you don't want to be asked any questions until a lawyer is present for you.

If you get a cop at the door, and he just wants to ask a few questions, friendly like, just be polite and tell them that you will not answer any unless formally arrested, with lawyer present. Often that alone can keep you out of the shit.

Cops would far rather mess with a guy who admits things easily, as it is far less or a pain trying to get a conviction. Just showing that you know your rights can make them want to go fishing in a different pond.

Not to say you will always be scott free doing this, but it helps you to never answer any of their questions unless the words coming out of your mouth are being spoon fed to you from a lawyer.
