Swelling in Feet and legs (Pitting Edema)

    Hi,

I have had swelling in my feet and legs for about 6 weeks now..

I finished my 15 week cycle of

    400ml Deca pw
    500ml Test pw

I also finished my cycle with 3 weeks or winstrol and test..

My cycle finished 8 weeks ago now and still getting swelling

Is this a typical side from Steroids ?

Ive been to doc and had my heart and kidneys checked as i know pitting edema is a sign of heart failure, heart size is normal and working fine...

Im after this info because i has really good gains and didnt want to rule out steroids again...

I also get really bad pain when doing any CV, eg running or circuit training.. Spinning i was ok though... its like massive pumps in my feet leaving me unable to walk??

    Any advice please???

    Thanks

They said theirselves there not experts in steroids and their side effects, just wondered if anyone else had experienced something similar....

It could be completely unreleated to the steroids..

Anytime a foreign substance enters the body a myriad of different reactions are possible. Many auto immune reactions involve swelling due to lymphatic activities at various points in the body. It is very unlikely that we are talking about heart failure here since according to your doctor everything has checked out. Unless you were running high dosages for years and years it is very rare for gear alone to cause heart failure, so I wouldn't be too worried.

I can tell you from running cycles that my hands and feet do swell occasionally - I can't fit my rings and my watch at times barely fits. What of course is unusual in your case is the duration of the symptoms after use.

The possibility of heavey metal contamination may have induced this reaction. Often as the body attempts to rid itself of toxins the areas farthest from the heart are going to have greatest degree difficulty - blood moves slower in these regions and sometimes heavey metals can become "trapped". This is a systemic problem that will probably take sometime to clear up. Be sure you doctor has checked for heavy metals in your blood - particularly lead, tin, and of course manganese and so on.

Secondly don't forget that deca lasts a considerably long time in the body. If your body for some reason has developed a reaction to nandrolone particularly to the ester whose metabolites have frequently been detected for 12-15 months after use - it is resonable to conjecture that your symptoms could be with you for a while.

Work with you doctor, and realize that often times they just don't know alot about steroids - there just isn't enough research out there, so he's likely going to treat your symptoms but he may never get to root of the cause. It will be interesting though. Let me know of any new developments. Good Luck.

    Fantastic...

This is just the kind of answer i was looking for... Ive had chest xray, cardiogram, ultra sound of kindeys and all were fine... ive had lots of blood tests done and they all came back good too..

Would you avoid steroids in the future then?? Is there anything i can do to minimise symptoms?

    Thanks in advance
