What are the effects of Deca on the heart?
What are the effects of Deca on the heart?
I went through the newbies’ section and quite a few of past threads but did not see anything that discussed the affects of Deca (or steroids ) on the heart. I did look up side affects of steroids (in general) on the web and saw that only elevated cholesterol was listed as a heart related side effect of steroids. The good HDL is lowered and the bad LDL is raised. Is this the only side effect of steroids that affects the heart? If cholesterol was the only factor affecting the heart, couldn't you just get a blood test after a week or two and check your cholesterol levels? I know of two people that were around 28 years old and both suffered mild heart attacks a couple of months after each completed a cycle. I do not know what they were on or how much they did but I do know that they each did a cycle and each suffered a mild heart attack.
How does Deca affect the heart and are heart related problems common from taking 400 to 600 mg/week of Deca for 12-14 weeks?
Thanks.

Besides the cholesterol you will get elevated blood pressure in most cases.
Your not thinking of running deca alone are you?

No heart hyperthropy from AAS use only, culprit is weight training and breath holding during excentric part of movement, but yes AAS can aggravate this condition but more likely GH will do this.
Well I know many guys who use AAS and no one had heart attack even they juice for 15+ years and are now over 40.
Please can you confirm their ECG? It can be easily some anxiety attack. I can imagine how doctor will react on patient in anxiety attack who admit AAS use in past he will told him that he had propably mild HA but ECG is clear so not use them again now you survived! Its just intimidation.
AAS aggravate anxiety and this lead to anxiety/panic attack = palpitation, sternal pain, stenocardia, shortness of breath, dizziness, fear of death. And when you use google or your memories what you find on your symptoms? Myocardial infarcion and this scare you even more!
Please post evidence. Not rumors!
HDL drop and LDL incerease is mechanism what lead to higher risk for heart attack or stroke. But real culprit is inflamation!!! No inflamation and low LDL oxidation = low risk even with low HDL and high LDL.
