what options would the endo give me for low test
hey guys,
recently I was test for testosterone by my GP (i dont remember the exact numbers) but i remember the jist of them. He is referring me to an endo, what options would the endo give me with numbers like this.
25 year old male, suffering from colitis (10years) taking remicade and 6mp.
free test: the normal range is 24-96. My level was 28.8
total test: the normal range is 11-28. My level was 17.8
LH: less than 10 is normal. Mine was 6.9
FSH: less than 10 is normal. Mine was about 6
I dont recall what units were at the end of those numbers.

Androgel or a similar type product most likely, possibly HRT, but you are still fairly young so I think they would start off with androgel and see from there.

Androgel is awful. Go for the real deal injections.
Cheaper and much more effective.

From a doctor's point of view what do you think a doctor is more likely going to do? Give androgel or similar type drug to raise testosterone to adequate levels or recommend a 25 year with low test to start doing test injections? I mean if he was 30, it would be an option, but again this depends on the doctor (some are more liberal than others) they would start off with androgel in my opinion, because the doctor isn't trying to get his test levels "through the roof" just to adequate levels in the normal range.

I agree with everything you have said.
Also the comment about most HRT/TRT docs.
I started TRT injections from a doctor when under 25 yrs of age from naturally low testosterone .
I tried androgel first, and it did not do a thing. Levels if I recall were in the low 200's from a normal scale range of 350-1100 I believe (total test).
Of course try out the androgel first if that is all you can get. If it doesn't work ask for the injections. If he doesn't agree then find a more open minded doctor who knows what he is doing.

What doctor in there right mind would subscribe testosterone to someone suffering from low test levels?
Injecting test suppresses natural levels, once the injections are done you will be worse off then you were. Think about it.
You need time off the gear, some HCG and nolva for sure
