Advice plz, any solution for this?

I know time and patience is probly the answer but i was just wondering if any of you guyz could help me out a little. i couldnt find a place realy where this question belonged.
Right here it is... ive been weight training a couple of years. progress good so far, but ive got 1 dilema. im right handed and i use it for most things including work which is a very demanding job physically. labour, construction work. so it has constant strain on it. what im gettin at is theres a very noticeable size difference in my right arm to my left. i try to focus while training mostly on my left arm to make sure it catches up to my right arm. But they both seem to be growing while leaving the size difference the same.

Is there any techniques or any thing i could try to even them up. my bicep and tricep on my right arm are great i just wish my left arm was reasonably the same. it is quite noticeable.

Thanks for your time in lookin into my problem if u do so

Use lots of dumb bell movements and they should balance out over time
that way each arm is working independent and will get stronger

cheers T-mos. i know it dont take much brain power to work this 1 out. But with all the experience and knowledge there is on this forum thought there might be a few methods/techniques. supplements anything realy to speed things up. because the difference in them is quite noticeable, its both my bicep an tricep so each arm gives off quite a different image. Strengh also. annoys me alot. love wearing Tshirts and vest so would love gettin em up to par lol.
    cheers

I had total right side upper body atrophy due to a herniated disk pinching a nerve.

Took me about a year after surgery to get my right side back up to even with my left. an I mean right pec, shoulder, bi and tri were all noticeable smaller than my left side.
I just concentrated on dumb bell work in each work out to force my right side to work independent of my left.

There may be others that can chime in here and give other suggestions as well

what is it you do for work, that gives your right arm such a workout?? proffesional arm wrestler??

whatever it is, i would say try and do it with your left hand. then you can even out what you do at work, between the 2 arms. learning to do something like that, takes some patience, but it is possible. hell, i learned to jerk off with my left hand. lol

lol i know what your saying mate. i use hand tools most days all day. nealry all with my right hand as the driving one. It does take alot of practise but can be achieved. it just when im hard at it i dont think about which arm is the biggest its just natural to use my best and most skilled hand. plus i need to be quick to actualy earn money lol. so usin my left arm which dont feel like it belongs to me half the time is hard lol.

Was thinkin wether startin all arm exercisin with my left also doing full motion with good form and hittin it xtra hard might do the trick.

I once heard that if u only train one arm the other would grow no matter wether u trained it or not as the brain sends signals or somat for it to grow. any1 lnow if this is true?

tuggin off with the left hand mite the solution think i'll give it a try haha
    thnks SteveO
