I was thinking about doing the same, but everyone said Mexican gear is either dirty or fake. Not worth it.

I would waste my money on Mexican gear, plenty of good UGL's out there that make great gear with great prices. Not worth it IMO.

While real gear is honestly not that difficult to find in Mex if you use your head, it's simply not worth the pain in the ass and risk when it's so easily obtained through other channels.

My old source was only Mexican gear. Never had an issue with it. Hit or miss, apparently.

Be careful of the swine flu. They are thinking of shutting down the border to stop the spread.

Yeah you def. picked a bad time to go, but IMO Swine flu is overrated. I read an news article that said two different antibiotics can effectively cure you if caught in the first few days. It's a big deal in Mexico because they have healthcare issues and poverty, so people don't go to the doctors often.

Everyone has different opinions about Mexican gear. I, personally have never had a problem. I recently lived 10 minutes away from the border and made the trip numerous times. I once went to Matamoros MX and bought 4 - 20 ml bottles of winny and 1 -10 ml bottle of test 250. I always made sure to wear briefs and stick them in my groin area. NEVER been hasseled on the way back!

    - Never drive over....Always walk the bridge!

    - You have to make sure to walk back and keep your cool!

    - Always buy either a bottle of liquor or other items to state a reason for the trip

    - Winny will be found with the vetenarians...not the pharmacies! Don't worry, vetenarians are always near...just ask a pharmacy for one!

    - Try not to go alone / once you cross, do your business and come straight back....don't talk to anyone outside of the pharmacies

    - You should never have to go more than 5 -10 minutes deep into Mexico from a Border town.....Everything you need is usually no more than 4 -5 blocks from the Border (even Vetenarians)

    NEVER HAD A PROBLEM!

    Crazy story from 07'

I made a trip once where I taped 6 10ml vials of Sust/Winny/Deca (2 each) to my groin area. Right as I was going through customs, I felt a vial come loose and roll out of my pant....In front of the Agent's eyes.
He picked it up and asked me if I had any more. Only to lessen the possibility of a search, I replied, "I have 1 more....let me get it out!" He looked at the vials and searched through a list on a clipboard. I was nervous...but kept my cool. He said, "next time...don't hide it"... and let me enter the U.S. with the two vials he had in his hand.

Crazy Fkin Experience....To this day, I still tape the stuff...just a little bit better than before!

***The 2 vials that the agent saw were both Sust 250***

IMO I wouldn't risk claiming it through customs

Do not go to mexico at this time.
there is an epidemic right now that people need to be screened in a sterile room.
DEATH may follow your journey(s) to Mehiko.

I havent made that trip in years... As stated above, walk across. I would go when I was in the Marines, buy the shit... hide it somewhere or keep in my pockets depending on how much. Then go party all night and drink my ass off and walk back with all the drunks and never get messed with.

Ive also had the pharm workers take me in the back and tape all the shit up to my legs

C'mon, ... what kinda question is that. No, dogs cannot smell gear! That person either had stuff in the car that dogs can smell...or gave themself away by losing their cool.

I was a Mex regular ; however, right now is really not the time to go!

    Good times! LOL
The first time I walked across I was soo nervous. I just put 2 10ml jugs and 4 sus preloads in my BOOTS and walked across. It was the most painful walk of my life. I was about to cry when it was time to declare. I dont think that my feet have recovered to this day

what i know is if you're travelling to mexico by any form of transports(cars, buses, etc...), they will thoroughly check you but if you're travellin on foot, they don't(although they do but not 100%).

You won't get checked on foot...unless you get really nervous and give yourself away while proving your American citizenship! Always buy other items to declare a diffent reason for your trip to Mexico. (ie: bottles of liquor, souveneirs, etc...)

I have walked across the bridge a couple times within the few years. They always ask if you have anything, but I haven't ever been searched. I have never tried to buy gear there, but I can't imagine it being hard to get across. Keep your cool, and be polite.

When I was stationed back in SD this is exactly what the guys would do. Its too bad I was too big of a ***** to do gear back then.

Oh and if you look military you'll probably get some extra questions by shore patrol, but just keep your cool and you'll be fine.
