    Swollen Knee post injection... Help?

A friend of mine pinned on wednesday, complained that his leg hurt more than it should. Saturday noticed his knee area was tender and swollen... It's not bruised, just puffy and sore, pin area looks normal... Any ideas?

my workout partner experienced the same thing after his first inject into the quad. His knee got really swollen. From what some people told me if you shoot too low into the muscle that can happen? Not sure though might want to verify that with some of the more experienced members. However he moved it up more on the quad and said it has been feeling great. I have been using the indicator; standing straight up with my hands by my side on the outer quad muscle and where my middle finger tip touches has been a good spot. Should match up about a hands length from the top of your knee cap.

this happened to me many times, i hit the upper outer quad and 2-3 days later it swells above my knee cap. i think it is the oil traveling down and causes swelling. it hurts bad too. i refer to it as 'channeling' to another area. ive shot glute and gotten swollen on my hip bone, it 'channeled' over away from the inject site
