    Exclamation Yellow eyes!!! Help!!

I freak out easily. The whites of my eyes are yellow. I'm drinking water, intaking 400iu's of vit. D in my multi. Going to go lay out in the sun. My liver doesn't hurt nor do my kidneys. also upping my milk thistle intake. IS there anything else i should do? or watch out for? how serious is this? dctors visit or over reacting?

i dont know much about it.. i would call the hospital and tell them your situation... the steroid part is your choice.. but ask them if waiting till monday would be bad.. if its an emergency or what... it might be a gradual thing were a couple days dont matter or it could be a get your ass there thing..

A friend of mine had this happen to him..... i'm not 100% sure what he was on tho. His eyes were yellow for about 4-5 weeks. He never did go to see the doctor...... but now they're fine.

Im not saying to skip going to the hospital...... thats going to depend on you man. I don't think it's something that going to kill you in your sleep..... but im not a doctor and i don't have a clear answer on what you should do. sorry man

I've been tested for everything in dec 08. 100% clean. just talked to pharmasist. He said discontinue of course and keep my monday app. with doctor for blood work. i just don't know what to look out for in the mean time. Also if there is anything i could do to fix this myself. and if this is that big of a deal. my freind said it's not and to take milk thistle plenty of vit. d. and get some sun. he's been doing this for 10+ years, but i want your opinions as he's not a professional. also i never trust just one person's opinion.

about 3 hours ago i took my multi, a protien shake, and my primo+deca inject. don't know if the multi or protien could have anything to do with this. I heard protien being hard on the liv.

anything else you can tell us? fatigue, pain, nausea, skin color, or anything else you are experiencing? are you taking anything else such as NSAIDs or otherwise? my initial thoughts are that you shouldn't need to go to the ER but i would advise getting to the doc come Monday if it doesn't resolve and running some blood work. could be as simple as allergies but i wouldn't chance it. what you tell him is up to you. i would just play dumb.

protein is not hard on the liver. if i had to make a guess related to the steroids i would say its from an increase in RBC. milk thistle is also debatable and too much can actually tax the liver.

I introduced primo today for the first time around noon. 150mgs with 150mgs of deca . been on deca for 5weeks now along with sust 250. taking 2000mgs of milk thistle a day. 1 mens health vitiamin/day. Thanks for all your help guys i really app. you all! does rbc mean red blood cell count? if it does could i just give blood? or would that hurt?

Also I'm having wife go to the store to pick up some vit. D3. I plan on taking 400iu 3x a day. Hope this helps. Question is if my urine is clear, and my liver or kidneys don't hurt why are my eyes yellowing? is that the first step in liver damage??

I really think you are going to live.

If you had blood work done in december and everything was fine i wouldn't worry.

Your milk thistle dose i would drop to around 1200mg a day

RBC does stand for red blood cell count but you have only been on for five weeks so now I am thinking not so much.

If you don't make it through the weekend it was nice knowing you.

I AM NOT A SOURCE CHECKER
    Posts

In adults, it's important to identify where the source of the problem lies. The pattern of symptoms may point to obstructive jaundice while blood tests can check for infection, liver function or excessive breakdown of red blood cells. Scans may also be used to identify gallstones or other obstructions to the passage of bile or whether the liver is inflamed. Sometimes a liver biopsy is performed to check for disease.

Treatment will then be directed at the cause, for example stopping a medicine which is causing haemolytic jaundice, surgery to remove a gallstone or antibiotics for infection or antiviral drugs for hepatitis.

This article was last medically reviewed by Dr Trisha Macnair in March 2009
    .

I don't know if this might help or not, but it seems you may just have been unlucky and have got some of that Liver Toxicity we hear about (usually from orals). I say go to the Doc and be honest. You may have to discontinue the cycle, so tell him about you PCT plan (in case of contraindication). You may have an infection, like Hep, from being careless with needles. You can sit out a mild case of Hep A, but you cannot afford to make guesses.
Get down to the quack first thing. (& don't panic!)
    Good luck

Interesting, but this simply couldn't be the result of the cycle you described. I just read the first few posts so this may have been stated, but keep an eye on your hands and nails because Jaundice works downward when progressing, and do visit the doc for his opinion and to get bloodwork which should cite the real culprit.

I would have your liver values chcked to see where you stand. I would also begin a good liver protectant like Synthergine immediately.

When you have liver failure or jaundice (turning yellow) from Hep A, B or C (yes I have experience with B) it's not just part of your eyes, it's your WHOLE eye turn yellow and so does your skin. It sound like your liver maybe be over working. Drink a LOT more water, get some mild thistle but DONT over do the milk thistle, that can hurt also, research it.

The first thing I noticed was lack of appetite. I though I was hungry but couldnt eat. I went from 165 lbs being lean and mean age 26 working out 5-6 days a week 2hrs a day down to 120- in a weeks time. I never recovered 100% or got back into working out until about a year ago when i started on Test E....

I think it might be the milk thistle! 2000 mg. a day is alot and I think very unnecessary for the injectables ! It's mainly used for the orals because of how hard they are on your liver, not that it will hurt using them while on inj. butthat amount I think is overkill and could be damaging your liver!
