    Is this right for me?

I just wanted to start by saying what a great site for information.

I am 33 and looking to gain strength not mass. I am currently 233 lbs. at 6'2.
I have been working out 2 hrs. a day split between cardio and weight training for the last 2 months and have lost 30 pounds.

    My goals seem simple enough.
    100 push ups in 2min
100 sit ups in 2 min
    20 dead arm pull ups.

My current progress seems really slow and wanted to know if steroids might kick start some muscle for my goals.

    Welcome to AR

    what is your Bodyfat %

you have only been working out for 2 months solid??

steroids are NOT the answer for the goals you want at this point. Time in the gym, training, proper diet will do the trick for you

OUCH !! 29% is WAY too high for using steroids . We dont' recommend using unless you are under 15% due to increased health risk.

Higher body fat can cause more Estrogen side effects and higher risk of Gyno, high blood pressure, and others

sure, but i think if you get your diet in check and get down to 15 %, you will have already met your goals.

Even with the 30lbs. I still have only dropped 4% body fat. Diet for me is calorie counting 1200-1400 a day. Can I lose 15% in 6 months with that type of diet and exercise.
