Did i inject rite, bad pain, muscle looks like shit
I did my last shot of Deca 500 and test E 750 split up into two shot.
I shotmy tricept on Monday 2.5cc
I've successfully done it many times.
However, this time the entire muscle is extremely sore, and is getting real swolen, my tri is getting biger in size, and I have not even worked out. my back arm hurts and the muscle hurts. my tri is real swollen.
what do I do?
Could I have missed the muscle? or is it an infection in the muscle.
No it's not hot in the area, nor read, just swollen, I feel everyday it's getting more swollen.Last edited by breakbones; 05-31-2009 at 03:30 AM.

I'm no expert.... But personally... I think 2.5cc's into a tricept is too much.

A. your using deca and test.... Shoot your a$$... It's not necessary to shoot a tricept or anything of that sort.
B. 2.5cc is way to much for a tricep. You can get away with it on the a$$ i would think. Not a tricep though.
C. you 5'6 180lbs and 15%. I weigh a little more than you at 5'6. So if your build is similiar to mine... I can't see you missing. What size pin did you use. 1inch should put you in just right to get the tricep.
Like I said personally I just think your doing to much in one spot. I wouldn't do over a cc in a tri. Shoot the buttox bro

Go for a checkup, could be absess within as it is a smaller and more active muscle it doesnt repair as quick as the glutes, delts or quads...Also 2ml is way to much for that muscle group!

Yeh I can not beleive you are shooting that much in the arm like that! WOW

Thank you to all that gave me your advice,
Yes, I know it is too much to be shooting, lesson learned.
It's been about a week now, but the pain and lump did not begin till 3 days later. so what I'll do is give it a couple days, if it dont' go down, or continues to hurt. I will go get a checked. thanks guys

There are many possible explanations for what you are describing. Remember a few important facts: 1) You put a foreign material in your body, any time you do so you run the risk of an infection, 2) You put an oil-based gear into your muscle, it may take a while to absorb that much into that area, 3) You used a 25 gauge, awfully small diameter could have created excess pressure, damaged tissue and made uptake slower than normal, try a 23 or better.
Right now you're nervous and concerned and the most difficult thing to do is wait, however time may just allow this to play itself out and you may laugh about it later.
Most guys on here have at least 2 or 3 experiences with injections that haven't gone right and made them a little nervous or even freaked out. If your tri is a "virgin" muscle this may happen. I will tell you it has happened to me at each muscle at least once: quads, glutes, delts, tris, traps, etc but the tri's were/are the most common site for irritation for me personally.
Try a heating pad for a few days 30 minutes at a session, that helped many of my issues.

Update:
My arm no longer hurts. it looks as if it's going down, so it seems ok, but I'll keep an eye on it.

Keep us posted and if the pain comes back you may want to see your doc.
