Apart from damaging your liver, I cant see how drinking would affect a cycle too badly (I mean apart from the calories, and hangovers effecting how you perform in the gym)
But if you know your body, I dont see it being a problem, I drink all the time, But I go to the gym in the evening, so it never effects me, I lift heavy and its fine.
But I mean, im not competing....

hey peptideguy what were your gains like while you were drinking that much? and what are useless calories? arent all calories good?

Depending on your size an occasional drink or two won't hurt much but I wouldn't make it a habbit on cycle.
I think if running a test only cycle your best time to have a drink would be on and absolutely nothing during pct.
If your drinking socially with clients make your first order a crown and coke, than order just coke in the same glass to appear to be socially drinking. I do this with apple juice instead of beer as well as cranberry to look like cran and vodka.
If your into ciders you can order a hard cider than swap for the juice and no one will be able to tell the diffrence after two drinks even if they tried it.

I also have read that alcohol -anything > 3 drinks a day - will decrease test levels in the bloodstream...but just like T-MOS said...moderation is the key..1 beer every now and then wont be too detrimental

i'll say what i said in another thread like this.
When i'm on, i take the ole lady out, get her wasted and beat her bones in. I dont drink, but I can sure give her a hell of a scroggin' with the test flowin like mad.

I guess everybody is different. Depends on the individual, their lifestyle, diet and so on. And when it comes to gear, what compounds they are taken and how many units of alcohol they are consuming. There are so many factors...
What I do find a little scary though, is the amount of guys I come across who are taking orals for ridiculous periods of time and hitting it hard -with alcohol- every weekend. Not a good idea... I can only hope their gear is bunk!

alcohol in of itself slows down your matabolism, this is a proven fact, that right there is enough for me not to want to drink.
anyone serious about their body wouldn't even consider the thought but thats the problem,most ppl using gear today just wanna look good for the beach and have no business or knowledge to even be touching it in the first place
