what kind of gains do you get on your first cycle?
21 years old, 5'10 220 lbs 12% body fat. considering doing a cycle next spring, currently a collegiate athlete for division 1 school. what kind of gains do people get on their first cycle? solely with test.

I gained 25lbs while getting leaner and more vascular so my net gain was probably higher than my actual gain on the scale (losing fat gaining muscle)
But then again I also had a great diet and training in place and fairly good genetics

damn 25 lbs. of course, diet+training no matter what you take is always top priority. i am well aware of that. i am debating to do a test only cycle next spring, using test prop, being that it stays in system for only few weeks.

First cycle or two should always be test. After this you can take notes on your bodies response and then move to two compounds. You always want to keep notes and know what your body has problems with and not.

of course, which is why i said i plan to run, if i do run it, test prop only for my first cycle...and i'm curious...what kind of gains did you guys get ?

He probably was not eating a incredible amount of food. You'd have to have your diet perfected in order to lean out and put on muscle regardless of how great someones genetics are......
I will say 25+lbs of LEAN BODY MASS in one cycle sounds a bit over-exaggerated, I'm sure some people that have been around the block would agree

Test E 500mgs a week. Got like 3 weeks left. Currently gained like 18 lbs.

sorry to change subject, kinda. i've been lifting since i was 13, i've never used any gear. i have friends that tell me i won't see much weight gain or strength gains, because they think i'm at my natural potential or really close to it. is it possible to gain 15-25 even if you are close to your genetic potential?

I gained 24pounds on my first cycle of test, the most iv ever gained and prolly will. These days i am lucky to gain 10pounds even with more compounds.

first cycle 20 pounds but I ate every three hours...shity pct lost ten pounds...there is so much that play into your cycle

training
body
PCT
but if you have that all in check you will see great gains......

Yes, mine was just test-e @ 500mg/week for 12 weeks
3,000-4,000 sometimes hit 5,000 calories in a day: 150 grams of fat 300+ grams of carbs 200+ grams of protein. Not the best diet in terms of fat and carbs, but it was a bulk and I have never ran a cutter in my life.
I never said I gained 25lbs of lean body mass Reed, you can go double check my post I said 25lbs.
You have to learn that if you gain 14lbs, 8-9lbs of that may be lean muscle the rest is the glycogen that accompanies the muscle to feed it along with the water to hydrate the newly added muscle.
I have no reason to lie, I got leaner, mid cycle everyone was saying "bro your face looks puffy" "I am going to pop you with a pin and see you deflate", but towards week 8 or 9 I stopped going up in weight besides a couple pounds here and there and started getting leaner, my forearms emerged with new veins that I had never seen before. Now I have lighting like veins on my forearms and my vein in my arms became clearly visible for the first time in a long time. I was dropping water weight and fat while maintain weight.
Like I said it wasn't 25lbs of pure muscle, I never claimed that. All I claimed was I gained 25lbs and got leaner. Me seeing my veins is a testament to that.

The 1st time you say natural potential and the second time you say genetic potential! This are 2 totally different things!! If yo are at your natural potential than yes you will gain more using gear if you eat and train right. If you are near your genetic potential probably will not gain much! But unless your friends are gentisists, how would they even have a clue if you were close to your genetic potential. i hope you realize there is only one way to find out if Using AAS will help you!

i am a division II football player... i did 8 weeks of test p and gained 15 lbs of lean muscle but i also went from 20 bf to 15.... it is def worth it

yeah i was thinking of running a cycle of solely test prop immediately after spring testing for 8-10 weeks. i'm currently 220 lbs, trying to cut to 210 lbs with less than 10% body fat. for next spring, if i decide to juice, i'd like to be 220 lbs with body fat less than 8. just giving yall the heads up...

tht would be good. My firt cycle was ok. Second cycle i ran with correct pct. I did deca 500 mgs a week test 500 mgs a week. I gained 35 lbs with diet. I did pct only lost 4 lbs. kept it all since then now on new cycle. Run correct pct for SURE PLSE PLSE.

Well honestly its a tough question to ask because everybody is different.
I have always ran low doses and react very good to them.
My first cycle was 100mg/w of test enenthate and went from 165 to 205 in 10 weeks.
The thing thats gonna define what u gain is not the cycle, its gonna be purely your diet.
If you want to cut eat like this, and if you want to bulk eat like that. But you cant just eat!

i got around 35-40 lbs but i was on the see food diet, everything i saw i ate, only gained a lil bit of fat tho, super fast metabolism for the save ^_^

i gained 30 lbs in 2 moths when i was on creatine monohodrate. Then i started my first cycle which i didnt gain anything but at the end of my cycle looked more cut and draier maybe because of winstrol

100 mgs a week and gained that much thats lil crazy much have been doing some damn good eating or never lifted before

Its not possible to gain 30lbs in 2 months on solely creatine mono, when taking creatine you put on about 5-8lbs in 2 weeks after that no more gaining happens. Then you said you didnt gain anything from your first cycle? whatd you run? because I highly doubt that.
