Baking Gear to reduce BA??? Srsly

I just read up "someplace"
And I see that users back there gear to reduce the BA content

Once you have it in a sterile vial you can put it in the oven to evaporate the BA to lower the levels

baking in the oven the product at 170F for 15min 3 times with a pin in the top

Anyone ever do this or heard of this>?

I wouldn't want to screw around with it myself.
If its that bad get a new lab

Its not bad gear its being baked because it is painful because of the BA content.
Users are baking it to evaporate it and I've seen plenty of happy users

i've never done it, but i can see it being done from a chemistry standpoint, i've heated compounds a number of times to lower water content or alcohol content

what's the BA%

Im not sure but Im at another forum and seen people bitching about the pain, some bitch some dont.
The admin recommends this, since they make it

id rather add some b12 or grape oil than try to cook the alcohol out of it. no tellin what will happen after that

Dont try cooking it.. Just put some oil that you mentioned in it. You may have to warm it up after that. Im not sure on this but you could ask an expert....Could you add a little BB to your gear if the BA is too high??

That's what I was thinking, how would BA evaportate at 170 degrees?

If it's that bad I would add oil to make it better, I wouldn't want to risk ruining gear over a little burn

You must be thinking of the boiling point... Liquids can evaporate way before heir boiling point. Like a glass of water left at room temp will evaporate.

once the BA is in solution with compound and the oil the only way to illicit evaporation is to heat to the boiling point of the BA. That temp is WAY too high and will make the compound unstable for sure. No doubt about it.
In a sense you are correct - i should have specified in solution.

Yea it works quite well the alcohol evaparates easy, but dont leave it in too long unless you got more ba or bb cause if you evaparate it all out it will crash.

Anymore questions about substances post them in the lab forum or they can be missed.

Will do, they use 5% BA if im not mistaken
I just posted here because I never seen it "HERE" but seems to work well for others whos gear contains a 5%BA and is painful inject.

jack put it in at 170 ...mark the level...then check it after...there will be no diff..because it wont work. Anyway good luck....
