    aspirating the delts

hi guys, after some advice from guys on here i switched it up and tried delt yesterday, problem is im using 5/8 25g needles and with one hand its impossible to aspirate unless u want to make a hole the size of a coin in your arm...

i tried the bottom two fingers and thimb and use the top two to aspirate but no luck, so i did the jab without aspirating... isit a MUST for me to do it as ive always understood its not although its just a step to insure your not i a vien or gone through one.

Personally, I allways aspirate . I am not willing to take a chance of injecting into a vein.

What is the problem you are still having? Are you not able to pull the plunger back with your pointer and middle finger?

i find it to hard to pull back when i have the needle in, its hard to reach and my hand becomes very tierd... i just cant aspirate without digging a huge hole

dont be afraid to let the syringe hang while you readjust your hand to get into a better position to aspirate . also if your in a vein the plunger shouldnt be difficult to pull back. so if your having a hard time generating enough pull chances are your not in a vein

like going4ripped stated use your pointer and middle finger to pull back while using your thumb and ring finger to push down, with the pushing down the aspirating should be not hard with one hand. Also, I do think it is critical to aspirate because injecting in a vein is not too smart if by chance it happens.

i know EXACTLY how you feel bro. But the secret for me is i just go in gentle with the needle and then just let go and it will not move even though your not touching it. Then readjust to where your hands are comfortable. Just be sure to be smooth with it !

This is how I solved the problem.
I made a loop out of metal coat hanger that attaches to the syringe so you can pull with the one finger no problem
