Repeatedly Injecting the Same Spot
I've been taking a 1cc shot every 3 days, and I've taken 21 shots so far.
I alternate between the left glute and the right glute, so I'm only using two spots.
So that means each spot gets an injection every 6 days.
What happens if you inject the same spot too frequently? And what time frame would you classify as "too frequent"?
I've had no problems so far. Sure the injection site is a little tender for 24 hours or so, but that's all.
By the way can anyone recommend a really good website or tutorial or video on doing intramuscular injections?

You risk Scar tissue building up
I would rotate at least 6-7 days in between shots in the same spot and try to change exact spot in the same muscle so your not sticking the needle in the same hole everytime

Quads are my easiest spot, but not anymore.
The skin is so tuff in that injection spot, the needle barley gets through, lol.
I rotate inner/outer calves, delts, glutes and tri's now. Slides in easy.

It's a big muscle, move around. I hit a spot today I have used several time obviously, I couldn't even push through. LOL I had to change needles and use a new spot.

When you say scar tissue, is it only in the skin?
From what I know, muscle can take massive amounts of abusive. I mean you can tear muscles, beat them and bruise them, and they'll heal. People even take a bullet into muscle and they can heal OK.
Tendons and ligaments are a different story
Yeah but anyway, is it just the skin that becomes thick? You don't lose any strength or mobility in the muscle, is that right?
The reason I haven't moved around to different spots on my ass is because I'm paranoid about hitting a nerve... I don't know where the nerves are! That's why I asked if anyone knows a good site or a good tutorial on intramuscular injections.
Actually right now I'm gonna do a web search on nerves in the buttocks.

For me I think it's mainly skin, I could not break through the skin, even once it stuck and I pushed and pushed. LOL
I pulled out, switched needles and moved to another spot, in like a hot knife into butter. LOL

Scar tissue can build up and make it more difficult to penetrate and might hurt a little more...
