Hey guys.. new to this.
Right,
im 19 y/o,
5ft 11"
162 lb
I've been working out, 2-3 times a week for 1 -2 hours, chest, arms etc. But im realy seeing no difference with my body, im not lean, i look more fat than i do muscly, so i was wondering if there is anything i could do to help convert fat into muscle? I dont want to take anything thats going to make me really aggressive, as i have a girlfriend etc that i dont want to upset!
If im being stupid feel free to tell me, just want advice! Thanks guys
~~Joe

Welcome.
You should go over to the diet section and check it out. Maybe post yours and those guys will be glad to help you out.
Then check out the workout section. Might help you to get a solid routine down.

Hey
I do my arms, chest, shoulders, abs, quads, + 20 minutes rowing at least 2-3times a week,
I've been doing this + following rambo's "how to cut" diet for 7 months now, and like i said, my body is just the same!Last edited by Joe-Cbr; 10-01-2009 at 03:30 AM.

Whats your goals? Are you looking to build mass or lose body fat? Firstly I would suggest not training for more than an hour if you're looking to build muscle but the best advice I could give is to start reading all the educational threads on the forum, they're very useful. Start with the basic ones first like what workouts to do and diet also.

Hey i dont want to be huge like some of the guys on this forum! I just want to have that.. "cut" look? So im just trying to find a way to get there fast!

There is no fast way to achieving a cut look, it takes time, dedication and alot of motivation. First please dont touch AAS at your age you dont need them and the risk isnt worth taking. You have enough natural hormones to build some decent muscle without causing damage to yourself, your HPTA isnt fully developed yet so shutting it down with AAS can cause serious issues you dont want at your age.
Diet and cardio are your key areas you want to look at to achieving your goals, if you go to the diet section and read the stickies you will get an idea of what is needed to reach your goals, if you dont understand some of it just make a thread in the diet section out linning your diet now and goals and you will get help.

Also marc, if its not too much to ask, could you suggest some powders, or anything else that may help me? Creatine etc? I know alot of friends use creatine, but i never have, is it worth it? Is there anything else i could take without harming myself?

Joe
You won't get there fast without the knowledge. I think 19 is a bit young to start any steroid and you're maybe too inexperienced in weight-training also. I would strongly suggest learning the basics of weight-training first but perhaps some of the VETs on the forum can give you guidance on whether you are too young to consider AAS, IMO it is a bit young
