Newb w/Abscess

I injected my third dose of my cycle today. I have an abscess that is soft to the touch on my Deltoid since this morning when I injected 1cc of short term Test. I only inserted the needle 1" deep, I thought this would be sufficient depth for the deltoid Intramuscular injection. Is this because I should have inserted the 1.5" needle all the way.

what are you using?

A sore injection spot the night of the injection is normal... color of the area? The amount? The volume? Is it very hot to the touch?

IF it is truly an abcess you have to go to the dr. You seem unsure.

Not hot to the touch just some what sore. However the soreness is very similar to the last injection in my delt.......but no mass that time. And I burried the needle to the hub on the first one= No abscess

Look to the top of my shoulder its about 3 inches long. 1 inch wide and only noticable if I flex my deltoid. Did I hit a nerve or something??

Sounds like it is fine. Just sore.

If your still thinking it could be an abcess go to the dr.

I only use 5/8 on delts.

Thats what I thought no more than an inch. Its just pissing me off that Im thinking I possibly wasted that injection

Hell I have to use 1 1/4 in on delts or Ill have to much leakage

Everyone has a good size I guess

Another question, my last injection was several months ago, 15months ago to b exact
I am getting tingling in my deltoid just now with red lines near injection site...
its NOT hot to touch, but i am getting feverish. I just started taking anti biotics now, Cephalex 500mg... any ideas anyone ? ? anyone ever experience this over 1year after injection?????
