    Flipping amps

Wow i just saw a video where the person was drawing from an amp by flipping it. I was shocked that no fluid came out when flipped. I think i may try this next injection.

Has anyone else ever heard of drawing from amps this way?

I cannot see the point to doing it.

Seems pointless. It already comes out fairly easy

Supposedly it makes it easier to draw all of the fluid out. Personally i have never had a problem getting it all out right side up but this is the way they are teaching nurses to do it now.

Thats rediculous, I just use a larger gauge and get all the juice out.

I agree that it isnt necessary. I guess i was just shocked that it did not dump everywhere when flipped. I guess its due to pressure and the shape of the amp

I was thinking of drawing out an amp normal then filling it with water or something and then trying the flipping thing to see if it actually works

My chicks a nurse so I asked her she said they have always been like this and its of course so you don't spill it, at the hole it creates a bubble so nothing moves out

It wouldn't work properly with water, it's the viscocity of the oil and the size of the cylinder not allowing air past so that the oil remains in the amp rather than displacing. Although it could be possible to flip the amp in a way that the oil doesn't pour out, it would serve no purpose.
