I wasn't home to sign, so I have the option of picking it up tmw at the post office, OR I sign it, and let them redeliver it next week.

I want to go pick it up tomorrow so its not sitting around arousing suspicion.

    Advice?

Saturday is always a good day to pick it up. Most feds (agents) don't like to wait on a weekend for you to pick it up. I would say pick it up.

If they gave you the pink redelivery slip then just go pick it up. If it already made it to your local PO then it's safe.

I just picked up my gear teusday and had to sign for it at the post office. My source actually wrote the wrong number on my address and USPS tried to deliver it to my neighbors house!!! But they were not home. Later my neighbor knocks on my door and gives me the pickup slip that has my last name written on it. JESUS HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. Dam source missed my address by one digit. But all is good now. Thk god have good neighbors too.

your cool man just go pick it up, like the dude above said if it made it to the post office then its all good....the first time that happened to me i gave the lady at the post office my slip for the package then she went in the back room for like 2 minutes and came out empty handed and walked over to the other postal worker and started whispering in his ear and then picked up the phone and started dialing a number, well needless to say my heart was racing and i was ready to run away but i just stood there i figured if i run they have my name and address anyways so i just waited to see what she had to say and it turned out that my package was taken to the wrong post office and she was whispering about it cause she thought that my package had been lost. That sh!t had me sweating bullets, hopefully you dont have to go through that.

In these situations, even if you sign for a package, you can always claim that you didn't know what it was... you might be expecting a birthday present from your grandma!

Ya if they were gonna try and deliver a sting they wouldn't have given you the pink slip. They would keep trying to catch you at home! You should be g2g

Just dont look behind you at the long line of costumers because everyone always seems to stare at the person being attended and will make you nervous.

So...I wanted to give an update.

I went to pick it up. I made a wrong turn to the Post Office, and so did someone else, and they followed me into the back. I thought it was strange, then I U Turned out of there. And finally parked, then the same car was there too.

The guy got out really quick and rushed to the door, to beat me. I got a tad suspicious, but thought maybe he's just a douche.

Well it was me and him waiting, and he was having problems with finding his stuff (took like 8 minutes) then this asian lady comes in squeezes in front of me, rings the bell like 8 times, and I'm just thinking "ok stay calm, don't tell her off" she finally realizes there is a line, and just walks out.

Then she comes back with 4 kids and her husband, the kids keep bumping into me, the guy infront of me turns around and straight up stares at me.

And I was just thinking, Wow of all the times I come here this is the time all the weirdos show up. When it was my turn he finally gets it, doesn't ask for ID, I sign and leave. Toss it the envelope in my glovebox, lock it, and cruise home. And then watch my rear view mirror the whole time like I'm in the film Fugitive. I watch too many movies.

    hahaha, don't worry so much
with the sig thing, your souce knows you got it
and you have the expectation of privacy so it can't be searched without a warrent

possession is 9/10's of the law
you'd still be guilty of having the goods in your house weather you signed for it or not

Not calling you out, but that is definitely not true. I had received a pink slip in the mail and went to pick my mail up in the past. They told me that they didn't have the package..... I call to talk to the supervisor because I think the lady is a big fat idiot, and the supervisor says 'It will be there this afternoon, sorry about that!"

Next thing I know I have US Postal Inspectors at my door, my package in their hands, asking about the contents of my package.....The screwed up thing, is there wasn't even gear in them! They were small tools! Yeah, they do watch you. Scary shit. And I live in a small town.

I know the feeling. What sucks is when you see a cop behind you and start to sweat and your heart speeds up. Ahh the relief when he turns!
