only want to gain about 10lbs

have read through this forum over the last few months and decided to post.

didnt ever get an exact answer to suit me.

what exactly should I take to keep my weight within about 10lbs of where im at now. 165lbs

would like to gain as much strength as possible without the massive weight gains.

    suggestions, please

You can achieve the 10lb goal by diet.

No gear is needed in this situation.

thanks, however, my goal is to break through some strength barriers and get completely stronger than where i'm at now.....i've been as high as 190lbs and not a hard gainer, just, wanting to maintain a lean physique and gain seriously in strength....do still suggest and are saying my best route is NO gear.....again, strength is what i'm after....non-natural-freakish strength

i understand my initial post was vague.

To gain strength and not much bodysize your workout style must change. You need to lift heavier with fewer reps/sets like a powerlifter.

This is where you will see the change your looking for.

Do you plan on competing in a strength sport? Is that why you don't want to gain weight?

5'7 guys usually compete in the 198's atleast

^^^^Exactly what I was thinking. if your looking for strength gains move to a strength routine. check out some power lifting routines and pick one.
