Quad Injection Pain

Started my first cycle monday evening with an injection of 250mg test cyp/200 eq into the right upper quad using a 1 inch needle with a total volume of 2ml. The injection site doesn't hurt and isn't red, itchy, etc. But the pain is pretty intensely moving down my quad. I've read other postings and this seems to be common and might be cause by hitting a nerve, but what bothers me is that my right quad is significantly larger. If I stand straight up, look down, and flex my quads, the right upper actually sticks out about an inch more. Worries?

I hit quads for all 1ml injections, and hit glutes for all 2ml injections. As long as the injection site is not red, swollen, warm or itchy... then you should be fine. I just recently had a painful pin. It was hard to walk for 2-3 days, but then everything got better

I had the same problem with my quad injections.....I was was told to massage the area after each injection.....
