? on steroids for older men

Ok so my father has been workingout for 3 yrs now 5 days a week and is not happy with his results. I can see the difference but for 3 yrs. it should be much more. He is 54 yrs old and considering steroids , is it anymore harmful for him due to his age or the same for everyone?

TRT will give your father a much better quality of life.

Tell him to see his doctor about hormone or testosterone replacement therapy and to get his blood levels checked.

He could just try a light cycle for now (if you can give him the hook-up for AAS)

    Test-E (weeks 1 - 12) @ 400mg each week (200mg ever 3.5days)

He'll feel like a 19 year old again; and he'll make solid gains.

What is his height/weight/BF? If his weight/BF are high you should get him an AI like arimidex to help control estrogen problems (bloat; gyno, etc..)

^^ x 2. If natural levels are low and they may be quite low at that age. He could see some significant benefit.

Those are pretty good starting stats for a man in his mid-50's.

Like I said... 12 weeks of Test-E @ ~350-400mg each week will do wonders for him.

went on HRT at 55 and even the light workouts i do show results. He may be low on natural test anyway. He might want to get his bloodwork done before he cycles. Annual physical and ask for test test. Course if he has the energy to work out 5 days a week he may not be low. I was lethargic, difficulty sleeping, irritable and apathetic. If he mentions those symtoms the Dr should check his test levels.
