Underweight wanting to start steroids
Hello, hope I am posting in the right forum.
I am 22 yrs old, about 6ft tall and weigh in at 128 pounds, I eat a good 4000 calories a day and have a desk job so I am not very active to burn the calories. I go to the gym and lift heavy but nothing seems to work and gaining weight is very hard I can not even get above 130 pounds!
I am looking into starting steroids and just want to get some advice from anyone who is knowledgeable or may have been in the same situation I am.
Thanks!Last edited by xiaom3; 01-24-2010 at 05:12 AM.

I am so not trying to flame you, but...... there is NO POSSIBLE WAY that you eat 4,000 calories a day and maintain 128 pounds. It's just not possible.
Head to the 'diet' section of the forum. Post your daily diet. Those people are the real geniuses here. The help you get from them is invaluable. Watch the sticky video " so you want to know how to diet". It's video and is about an hour long, but is broken down into several parts. Watch a few today , few parts tommorrow. Finish the video in a week. That will change your life.
Steroids are going to do you no good until you get the proper nutrition.

to be honest if you ate 4000-5000 calories, you'd gain weight, at 128 pounds, some of my gf's are 110-120 pounds and eat 1200 calories and gain weight, so if what your saying is actually true that u do eat 4k of calories a day for atleast 1 month straight,
then what you need to do is go to your doctor and ask him why your nutrients aren't reaching your muscles,

it dosen't really matter if you have a healthy diet, or you eat mcdonalds every day to be honest, so even if you go into our diet section doubt it will help you much unless you were lying to us!~

4000 calories of actual food per day is alot. Since you only weight 128Lbs at six feet you are either not being truthful and/or accurate with your calorie count or you have something seriously wrong!

NOw i don't think that is proper advice..He is asking questions and well most everyone is giving him the proper advice.. He doesn't need poked at..
Its not what you want to hear, but its the truth the diet section on here is unbelievable man.. there are tons of stickies to read and defiantely watch those videos, And you also need to tweak your workout routin to more of a power mass type workout and less higher reps.. What does a typical wokout for you look like?? but for now AAS is TOTALLY OUT OF THE QUESTION bro..

Most people are eating less calories than what they think that they are, and jumping straight into steroids is certainly not the answer. I tell people who want to get big to EAT! They claim that they are stuffing themselves all day and than we sit down and add it up and its way less calories than what they think, and way less food than what I would consider eating allot. When I bulk Im at around 2000 calories by 10 AM. I still have the rest of the day to eat too, so Im way up ther in calories by night

you could have some type of vitamin deficiency maybe you should go to your doctor and get some blood work done... steroids arent for you bro atleast not yet, you need to build a solid foundation first.

thanks everyone I will go to diet section first and see what I can learn. I get a good amount of calories from Cytogainer Shakes which is 540 calories each one and I drink 4 a day.
I did get some blood work done, I have a mild case of anemia, I take a 18mg iron pill every 2 days since iron just constipates me :/ other than that everything else was at good levels thankfullyLast edited by xiaom3; 01-24-2010 at 01:39 PM.

You need to get your calories from real food. Drop a few of those shakes and replace them with solid meals.

Lets not forget that some people have really good metabolism, i know my cousin and a few friends who will get away with anything. In the other hand i can easily gain 10 20 lbs in a matter of months.

Now i just broke 200 lbs from eating quality foods and lifting hard. Look at some of the bulking diets on here i guarentee if you follow those you will gain weight.
