letro and nolva

okay somebody school me here!! to my understanding letro and nolva are totally diff compounds, but letro does the same thing and more than nolva, right or wrong?

selective estrogen receptor modulators, right? im sorry but can u explain, in a small sum, the difference.. i just use letro to stop my gyno and clomid and hcg at the end..if im messing up, or inhibiting what im doing i would like to know!?

SERM's:
SERM's, by definition, compete for the space that Estrogen binds to. This receptor is then full and cannot accept the estrogen and therefore cannot produce the effects of estrogen.

AI's:
AI's, by definition, prevent aromatizable steroids from converting to Estrogen via the aromatase enzyme. Some are more effective than others.

Some of the more popular SERM's are: Clomiphene Citrate (Clomid), Tamoxifen (Nolvadex ), and Toremifene Citrate (Fareston).

Some of the more popular AI's are: Anastrozole (Arimidex ), Aromasin (Exemestane), and Letrozole (Femara).
