depends on to many things I ran a cycle when i was 19 started out maxing 245 and ended up repping 225 15 times as my warm up at the end. Cycle length, diet, genetics, compounds use all have to do with it.

Not to mention those with pathetic bench presses to begin will undoubtedly make the most gains provided they actually begin to eat/train correctly, as they have the most potential for growth.

I got out of the gym for a few years and shortly after starting back I did a test e cycle. My bench jumped 125 lbs. Been off 3 months since then and managed to only go up another 10 since that time.

I ran a prohormone (Spawn) cycle and went from 225 x 12 to 315 x 8. When I came off cycle, I was back to 225 x 12. I started my first test cycle 10 weeks ago. I am now at 315 x 11. If I have a spotter I can get 12 or 13.
I decided that my benchpress will never be impressive. Now I just care about Deadlifts, Squats and BB Shoulder Press. Those are my strong points

315x11 is very impressive. I've never been able to do that. I dunno man, for sure some guys can do more. But, well, I am not calling anyone out here or anything, but, you can say whatever you want on the internet... I just told a guy in another thread I bench a million. 315x11 is monstrous and puts you well within the top 1% of people on the planet.

nice, yea whenever i move up too fast in strength something happens where i get injured and have to take it easy on that exercise..esp bench, thats why i never go heavy on BB and stick to DBs..hoping to get up to the 130's soon....on the other hand my shrugs are going up, did 605 for 3 yesterday...hoping to get to 700

feel free to laugh, but was impressive to me. prob. 7 years ago, I was 21, did the whole MAG-10 cycle. when I started I weighed 131lbs., and my bench was 175 if I remember correctly. I went up to 148lbs, and my max bench went to 255 x 1.

People put so much into #'s, obviously how you lift will determine how strong you get, bodybuilders lift different from powerlifters, so I would assume that a change in routine might help more than the cycle. I've never really maxed out hardcore but I went from 225 X 8 on my last set to 315 X 5 on Test Prop, and Tren A at 194lbs. Id rather look like I could bench 500 and only do 300 than the other way around, but I know some people care more about the strength, to each their own.
