what size needles?

what size needles do you guys suggest for quads and delts? i have always shot in the glutes and i know that those needles are to long for quad and delt shoots.

23 gauge 1 in. needles.... you can go 3/4 in. in the delt if you are of smaller build

I personally use 1" pins for these areas.

25 Ga 1" in calves, bis, tris, delts

23 Ga 1.5" glutes

I've used 1.5" in the calves with no problem.

Personally i use 22g 1 1/4 inch for glutes and 25g 1 inch for shoulders.

I also use 25g 5/8 inch for tri's. And 21g 1 1/2 inch for drawing.

Needle size also depends on what you are injecting.

Oil based carrier or water based one.

I have so many different syringes.

20X1-1/2 for glutes.(oil).

23 or 25 X 1 for quads.

That's like the old pre filled syringes from mexico in 20 gauge needles. Things like a garden hose, I bleed like a stuffed pig......lol.

I've been using 21 gage 1 inch needles in my quads for a few weeks now. I would have liked to use 23 gage, but they didn't have any at my pharmacy. But they seem to work just fine, and they don't hurt at all as long as you pin yourself with a quick stabbing motion with your leg relaxed and extended.

Shooting with 23-25 gauge is probably best bet. 1 1/2inch in glute. 1 inch is fine every where else.

I think for most injections #25g/1 pins should be ok except 1.5" for glutes, I don't get it why some of you use #20 pins, I have use thicks gear and flows ok with 25g

You haven't used thick then yet... I had gear once... Holy crap did it take awhile to push threw a 25 gauge.

not really maybe about 2min if am injecting 3cc, that gives me good reason to inject slow

2 mins isnt the fastest... I have used 25 gauge for my one UGL. And wow was that thick. Shooting glute 3cc's my left side was a nightmare. LOL. I found warm water most definitely helped it a little though.
