    fat loss

    35, 5' 8", 200, 20%bf. I know I have to get my bf down before I start a cycle. Trust me I'm working hard on it. My question is why? I have looked though the forum and can not find an answer to why you must have a low bf% before you cycle. Are their negative side effects? Does it effect your gains?

    Great post... I have heard all this talk about bf and have not yet heard of a reason why it is so crucial.

    I am not promoting this by any means, but I myself have
    done a couple cycles when my bodyfat has been "too high to
    cycle" with great success. Shed fat and gained alot of good
    solid mass and strength. Everyone is different I know I have
    probably just gotten lucky.

    Because fat loves estrogen and estrogen loves fat.

    Just get your BF down, and we can take it from there.

    Those were some dumb answers

    I dont agree with the weight factor unless you are extreamly fat or have a health problem. Also it depends on the gear you want to use. Some are worse then others and some are barley harsh at all. I have seen a man with 32% BF go down to 15%BF. With strict diet exercise a lot of hard work and the right cycle. I have also my self gone from 30%BF down to around 19% in the past on 1 cycle good diet and cardio. The risk are higher if your fat. Say if do Test cycle. You will retain water and it will make it harder for your heart to pump your blood. It can be a problem. You must take proper percation, test and always watch everything if you do use gear. I dont disagree there are more of a risk. But any cycle has risk. Just choose a lighter cycle. And pay attention. Also if your not ready to lift heavy weight you can tear muscles and tendons. If your body aint maxed out naturally you can hurt yourself. But again there are ways around it. Lift lighter and more reps. Dont do isolation exercises. Take something like EQ to strethen you tendons. Where theres a will theres a way. I dont like the "do it natural first" If your going to cheat, cheat from the start. As long as you have a some what decent base to work off. I swear some people just want other people to struggle sometimes. Not all people, but some. You can get great gains if you do it right , proper and catious and you can do it when you want. I am not right or wrong and this is just an opinion. Every one is differnt. Im not saying do gear. But like I said I went from 30%BF to around 19%BF or less. I went from 225x3 max to 375x2. Keept most of my streth. Lost a ton of fat and look pretty dam good. People say 19% is too high and 15% is what you need to juice. All steroids will give you results if used properly. Maybe not as much results as they would on a guy with 12% BF but they sure as hell will help. I have seen it on many fat people and myself included. Sometimes I feel like the people on most forums just want to feel elite. They had to work so hard for years. Why would they want just anyone to get what they had to earn. They laugh at guys that are 150lb and want to juice to gain weight. They say work harder. I say just cheat like the people telling you work harder. They do it so can you. Same with the people always saying diet diet diet. Yea I agree get your diet in check. Then cheat like they do with T3 and clen . They use it to drop weight so can you. Im not saying eat like a pig while on it either. Clen and T3 sure as hell will help you. .Like I said this is just an opinion. Not saying all people feel this way but I know some do. Hey. You might love it or hate it but its mine. So kiss my ass.

    Just to clear it up

    There are a lot of good people on this site and other who really help and give great advice. I m not trying to make anyone look bad. I have talked to people on forums and in gyms and you can just see they dont want some beginner getting fit the easy way when they had to work so hard for it. Dont no one take it personal. Wich Im sure all of you will. I am just talking from my exsperience and what I have seen and done. I really dont think there is a right or wrong. And I have agreed that the risk are higher when your overweight. But to what exstent. This guys at 20%bf. Proper diet,training and a good cycle he could get down to 10-12%bf in a cycle.     . I hate to be ignorant because I know most of the guys are just trying to look out for their fellow brother but I think there is some truth to this.

    dude perfect my last run i was at 21bf ran test e and deca a week got strong 15% bf ROCK HARD and I am 42

    I kind of agree with this....But only some of it...

    You get less sides with aas if you are leaner...Less worry of gyno, water retention, high BP and cholestorol issues...But I have seen some good local BBers who do pretty good putting on a lot of weight (good and bad) in the offseason.

    I think if someone who has a higher BF% wants to use something then it should be only a low dose (IMO test is best) with an AI full cycle running in and through PCT and only to maintain the muscle they have while dieting. Also before they start they should get checked....Make sure BP/hdl/ldl are all good before using...Even check resting heart rate....In a case like that it can help in maintanence while losing.

    but if a person is not otherwise very healthy....Its to much of a risk.

    Thank you all for your input. I think Im going to keep working on loosing the flab before I start a cycle. It is better to be safe than sorry. I am aiming for October to start. I would like to get my strength up as far as I can naturaly first. Also, steroids are taboo and it is easier to hide the obvious effects of gear during the winter.

    Wait until more of the vets get a chance to reply. Sorry but the newbies are WRONG.

    There are MANY reasons not to use AAS when you have high body fat, it's just people dont want to see, read or believe them. I have been here long enough to read MANY horror stories from users who ended up with gyno, libido issues, BAD acne and many other sides and most of them had higher body fat than recommended.

    Also the higher body fat the less results you will archive. Do more research. This has been gone over many times. Change your search words or how you are searching. Dont only do one search and think that is all the data available.

    Good choice on waiting. You will be MUCH happier when you do decide to run a cycle and get much better results. Better than having lactating boobs and have to schedule gyno surgery I would think...

    very good thread! If you have a higher body fat and you want to cycle you need to keep estrogen and water weight under control, get a good ai like liquidex and exemestane.
