Done with research, want expert opinions

ok so before i get flamed let me just say that , yes i am a 20 yr old looking for a shortcut, no i dont think i know it all (thats why i am here) and yes I am open to any of your suggestions. ive been working out for roughly a year but i only started getting serious about it in the last 4 months. I have to say that my results have been pretty good for 4 months, Ive been cycling creatine, supplementing with whey and following a strict diet. Im currently sitting at 5,11 170 pounds. On to the gear part now.... Im not considering doing anything heavy, i was thinking of a low dose (20-30 mg / day) Tbol cycle for 5-6 weeks. I am by no means looking for amazing gains, Id honestly be happy with a 5 pound gain.... Im just looking for a kick start before the summer, I know the psychological aspect itself would probably make me train twice as hard.... what do you guys think...btw i know i havent reached my natural potential but i dont see how doing such a mild cycle to boost my results is a bad idea... Thanks in advance guys

I think big sexy is advising an anavar cycle because it is very moderate and does not yield the drastic side affects that others do. I would have to agree with him in giving that advice. It is probably the mildest aas for a younger user

the fact that your 170 pounds at 5'11, means you don't have a serious diet, and / or you haven't been training long enough, don't even know why they're advising you to take gear at 20,

this forum is becoming more stupid lately.

and considering your probably a hard gainer, the 1g per /lbs of body dosen't apply, you should be running from 1.5 to 2g per body. which is why your probably not seeing amazing gains considering 170 at 5'11, which is like the weight I was after 3 months of working out.

^^^^there's your problem... You don't even want drastic gains man, so why not just up the protein intake to 2g's per lb of body weight?

Diet section is your supplement that is needed bro, for the slight gains you want, simple diet tweaks will do the trick as of now

    good luck,

You've been working out seriuosly for four months. You don't need to mess with steroids . Maybe I missed something here but no one else seems to of mentioned that.

thanks for all the answers... btw my BF is like 4,8% at 170 pounds so i dont really look scrawny... i would still like a little more mass around the pecs and shoulders. I know that i havent reached my natural limit, not by a longshot.... but i guess my biggest question is would doing a mild tbol only cycle be worth it? would it give me that little boost im looking for ?

It sounds like you are only going to listen to someone if they tell you to go ahead and do a tbol only cycle. But the fact is, you have already received the best advice you can get here.

DIET!!!!!! Bro, you need to be lifting hard, eating A LOT and getting lots of rest. If you do that you will grow. There is no reason for a 20 year old who has only been working out for 4 months to be turning to AAS.

That would be impressive, but I HIGHLY doubt that you walk around at a bf under 5%.

I will not jump on the train and reccomend an Anavar cycle. As far as I know, oral steroids can still cause some type of shutdown, no matter how mild. I waited until after I was 25 to start, so you can too

4.8% bf at 170lbs??? Um, no, no you are not. I agree with those here who say no need for anything yet except a serious diet tweak and intense training. You'll see plenty gains naturally before the need for gear. Increase your protein and carbs!! If you did the T-bol now, you woul love it - you would add a little size and strength and get all full and think you're on top of the world.... and then when off the cycle, since you are not on point with everything else, you will come crashing down and be worse off then when you started.
