    Clen and recepter downgrade

Its often said that clen will down grade you receptors and possibly stop steroids from working properly???

So, it might sound like the a stupid Question, but will clen dowgrade receptors permenently, or just whilst your taking it???

clen stimulates the beta-2 receptors, but only selectively. (ive read)?

I just want to know if it can screw up yor receptors permenantly, or is it just whilst taking it???

are you asking if it screws up your beta -2 receptors? or receptors related to AAS?

downregulation, as pertaining to clen, means that the clen is reducing the number of beta receptors as it antagonizes them, upregulation means that mRNA is coding proteins, then transcribing and translating them, which creates new receptors and thus allows the clen to work more efficiently

in a nutshell, the more clen you use the faster you run out of beta receptors, less beta receptors means less clen can antagonize them resulting in less effectiveness

or another way to think about it is:

if you have two ziplock bags full of water and you poke 1 needle hole in one and 100 holes in the other, which one will lose water faster? the one with 100 holes right

if you are taking clen(at the dosages we use) then you have more clen molecules then receptors that they can attach to

the more clen receptors you have the more clen can attach and the faster your metabolism goes

but if you start to lose those receptors(downregulation) now you have a huge abundance of clen with very little receptors to use it and your metabolism slows

how do you fix this? get more receptors(upregulation), that way more clen can attach and your metabolism can increase again

    does that help?

phate what he was really asking was if clens effects aas effectivness due to receptor downregulation....but a few of us replied that thay work on different receptors....clen with beta receptors and aas with i believe androgen receptors...im shure you can clear this up...

yeah that's right, clen works on beta 2 adrenoreceptors while anabolic steroids work on the androgen receptor

Hey man. Really Really good explanation. I originally had the idea to run 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. But I plan on doing it for 2 weeks, then taking benegryl the during the 3rd week and doing it for a total of about 6 weeks.

    Thanks

You may want to take ketotifen since it's the only proven method of up regulating the receptors. Take 1mg/day at the end of your 2nd week.
