Thoughts on keeping new members screwed
Good day all
I have been a member for a while a few years and today I took the plunge. I bought some goods from the pharm for my horse. My GF is a vet, it pays to go to a school with a vet program.
On to my idea. How much would it cost us, the members, if there was a fee for this forum? This would keep out all of the uninformed members aka kids looking for the "special pill". Keep us from flaming so many people, as well as provide money to pay for the site, in turn removing the banner ads at the top of the pages.
Just a thought.
BTW before you ask
age: 25
height: 6'3.5"
weight: more than you
Diet: bland & tasteless (just right)
BF: not low enough

My driving force was to get rid of the banners maybe grandfather in all current members.
you are correct on both accounts

Why do you want the banners removed if they provide a convenient link to quality ancillaries? Why do you mind helping the uninformed who may be risking their own health? Why are you posting your stats when they are meaningless towards your question? Why do you want to spend money to make a quality site worse than it is?

but what happens when current members fade, and new members are pushed away by the fact that they have to pay, this place will get slow quicker than you could imagine

How exactly would people pay? Seems like it'd have to be with a CC or something else that would have your name on it. Seems like being anonymous is pretty important here. I see where you're going, but probably won't work.

Are the banners really that big of a deal? Is this Wrigley Field were we are trying to maintain the sanctity of our pastime and wish nothing to do with adverstisements on our outfield wall? Wouldn't you rather just not "pay" attention to them rather than "pay" money out of your wallet to make them go away?

OSU that sounds like a great idea, we should definetaly prevent people from coming on here and educating themselves. This way young members who learn how harmful aas can be and decide to postpone taking them for a couple years will instead blindly take them with no knowledge and hurt their bodies permanently. Feel free to post anymore genius ideas you may have on the matter.
